મારવાડી યુનિવર્સિટી NIRF 2025માં ચમકી: ગુજરાતની 7 યુનિવર્સિટી સાથે દેશની ટોપ 150માં સ્થાન મેળવ્યું.

ભારત સરકારના માનનીય શિક્ષણ મંત્રી શ્રી ધર્મેન્દ્રપ્રધાન દ્વારા જાહેર કરવામાં આવેલી NIRF 2025 રેન્કિંગમાં સૌરાષ્ટ્રની એકમાત્ર મારવાડી યુનિવર્સિટીનો સમાવેશ થવા પામ્યો છે. ગુજરાતમાંથી કુલ સાત યુનિવર્સિટીઓને આ પ્રતિષ્ઠિત રાષ્ટ્રીય રેન્કિંગમાં સ્થાન મળ્યું છે, જે રાજ્ય માટે ગૌરવની વાત છે.

યુનિવર્સિટી કેટેગરીમાં ગુજરાત યુનિવર્સિટી 74મા ક્રમે છે, જ્યારે મારવાડી યુનિવર્સિટી, નિરમા યુનિવર્સિટી અને પારૂલ યુનિવર્સિટી 101–150 બેન્ડમાં સ્થાન પામ્યાં છે. આ સાથે નવસારી એગ્રીકલ્ચર યુનિવર્સિટી, પંડિત દીનદયાળ એનર્જી યુનિવર્સિટી, અને સુમનદીપ યુનિવર્સિટી 151–200 બેન્ડમાં સ્થાન પામ્યાં છે. એન્જિનિયરિંગ કેટેગરીમાં આઈ.આઈ.ટી. ગાંધીનગર, એસ.વી.એન.આઈ.ટી. અને પી.ડી.ઈ.યુ. ટોપ 100માં છે, નિરમા યુનિવર્સિટી 151–200 બેન્ડમાં છે, જ્યારે ડી.એ.આઈ.આઈ.સી.ટી., મારવાડી યુનિવર્સિટી અને મહારાજા સયાજીરાવ યુનિવર્સિટી 200–300 બેન્ડમાં સામેલ છે. ફાર્મસી રેન્કિંગમાં પણ મારવાડી યુનિવર્સિટી સહિત ગુજરાતની સાત યુનિવર્સિટીઓ ટોપ 125માં સ્થાન પામી છે.

સૌરાષ્ટ્રની 16 યુનિવર્સિટીઓમાંથી મારવાડી યુનિવર્સિટીનું સ્થાન ભારતની ટોપ 150 યુનિવર્સિટીમાં, ફાર્મસીમાં ટોપ 125માં અને એન્જિનિયરિંગમાં ટોપ 200–300માં થવાથી હવે સૌરાષ્ટ્રનું શિક્ષણ રાષ્ટ્રીય સ્તરે પોતાની ઓળખ બનાવી રહ્યું છે. આ સફળતા પાછળના મુખ્ય આધારરૂપે 750થી વધુ પેટન્ટ ફાઈલ, 3000થી વધુ રિસર્ચ પેપરનું પ્રકાશન, NAAC A+ ગ્રેડ, ગુજરાત સરકારની ‘સેન્ટર ઓફ એક્સસલેન્સ’ માન્યતા, 6 પ્રોગ્રામની NBA એક્રેડિટેશન અને ટોપ MNCમાં થયેલા પ્લેસમેન્ટ જેવા મજબૂત પરિબળો છે.

આ અવસર પર મારવાડી યુનિવર્સિટી ના કો-ફાઉન્ડર અને વાઈસ પ્રેસિડેન્ટ શ્રી જીતુભાઈ ચંદારાણાએ જણાવ્યું હતું કે મારવાડી યુનિવર્સિટી માત્ર ગુજરાત જ નહીં પરંતુ હવે ભારતભરના વિદ્યાર્થીઓ માટે આકર્ષણનું કેન્દ્ર બની છે. દર વર્ષે 600થી વધુ વિધાર્થીઓ, જેમને 95 ટકા કે તેથી વધુ પરિણામ મળેલું હોય છે, તે દેશના જુદા જુદા રાજ્યોમાંથી અહીં અભ્યાસ માટે આવે છે. તેમણે ઉમેર્યું કે, કેતનભાઈ મારવાડી અને મારા દ્વારા સ્થાપિત આ સંસ્થાએ ગુજરાતમાં ‘સેન્ટર ઓફ એક્સસલેન્સ’ તરીકે માન્યતા મેળવ્યા પછી પણ સૌથી ઓછી ફી રાખીને શ્રેષ્ઠ શિક્ષણ આપવા માટે પ્રતિબદ્ધતા દર્શાવી છે.

મારવાડી યુનિવર્સિટીના ટ્રસ્ટી શ્રી ધ્રુવ મારવાડીએ જણાવ્યું કે આજના યુગ પ્રમાણે શિક્ષણ ખુબ હાઈટેક બની ગયું છે. યુનિવર્સિટીએ તાજેતરમાં NVIDIA સાથેના સહકારથી ₹4 કરોડના ખર્ચે આધુનિક AI લેબોરેટરી ઉભી કરી છે, જેના કારણે વિદ્યાર્થીઓને ગુણવત્તાસભર શિક્ષણ અને ઉત્તમ પ્લેસમેન્ટ તક મળી રહી છે. આ તમામ પરિબળોને કારણે મારવાડી યુનિવર્સિટીએ NIRF 2025માં પોતાનું સ્થાન પામ્યું છે.
