Teachers' Day

In many countries, Teachers' Day to be special days for the appreciation of teachers, and may include celebrations to honour them for their special contributions in a particular field area, or the community in general. The date on which Teachers' Day is celebrated varies from country to country. Teachers' days are distinct from World Teachers' Day which is officially celebrated across the world on October 5.[1]

The idea of celebrating Teachers' Day took ground in many countries during the 20th century; in most cases, they celebrate a local educator or an important milestone in education (for example, Argentina has commemorated Domingo Faustino Sarmiento's death on September 11 since 1915,[2] while India celebrates Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan's birthday on September 5 since 1962[3]). This is the primary reason why countries celebrate this day on different dates, unlike many other International Days.

1. Mother gives birth to us, a teacher gives life to us, a void remains in our life when there is no balance.

2. A student represents his teacher, he is the canvas painted by his teacher. It is the only pair that distributes knowledge.

3. Teachers should write about students who left a mark on them, which would show their involvement with their students.

4. There should be clarity on why you want to be a leader – is it just to win elections, or to serve the people. A leadership quality needs to be developed to be a leader. When you establish that, people are affected, and you also want to work selflessly for others. Then, you don’t need qualifications, people will make you leaders.

5. A teacher can never retire. Being a teacher is not like any other occupation. We have to stop becoming robots.

6. There is a great demand for good teachers in the world, and India being a young country should be able to produce good quality teachers for the world.

7. There is need to find out why the value of a teacher has lost its sheen and why students don’t want to be teachers when they grow up.

8. People who have achieved something in life and taken to a profession such as doctors and engineers should teach students in a school for one period in a week.

9. Serving the nation does not only mean doing grand things; doing small things is a big service to the nation.

10. A teacher-student relationship must always be nurtured. Keep the child in you alive. Keep smiling and playing.

1. माँ हमें को जन्म देता है, एक शिक्षक करने के लिए हमें जीवन देता है कोई संतुलन नहीं है, जब एक शून्य को हमारे जीवन में रहता है।

2. एक छात्र वह अपने शिक्षक द्वारा चित्रित कैनवास है, उसके शिक्षक का प्रतिनिधित्व करता है। यह ज्ञान वितरित करता है कि केवल जोड़ी है।

3. शिक्षकों को अपने छात्रों के साथ उनकी भागीदारी दिखा सकते हैं जो उन पर एक छाप छोड़ दिया है, जो छात्रों के बारे में लिखना चाहिए।

शिक्षक बांटें ज्ञान बराबर,
