🌟 Expert Session on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)

We are pleased to share that Dr. R. Arun Kumar, AP-III/Mech and Certified Patent Agent (IN/PA-4439), served as the Resource Person for the expert session on “Turning Ideas into Valuable Assets: The Role of IPR”, organized by the Velammal Innovation and Business Incubation Council (VIBIC) in association with Velammal College of Engineering and Technology, Madurai.

During the session, Dr. Arun Kumar shared his expertise on IPR sensitization, patent drafting, and patent filing, providing valuable insights into transforming innovative ideas into protectable and commercially valuable intellectual assets.

👥 More than 60 students benefited from this insightful and engaging session held on 06 August 2026.

We are delighted to share that Dr. R. Arun Kumar, AP-III, Department of Mechanical Engineering and Certified Patent Agent (IN/PA-4439), delivered an insightful session on "Innovation, Patent Drafting and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) in Drone Technology" as part of the 5-day Online Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on Advanced Drone Technology with 3D Printing and Machine Learning.
