The first university of the world was Takshasila(in the then India –now in Pakistan). None of the universities in India were placed in top 100 in the world. When it was possible to Kerala to achieve 100% literacy , why not for entire India? “AKSHARA YAGNA” an initiat

ive to achieve 100% literacy in India by 2020. Reaching rural India, slums are the focused areas. India is placed in 186th position in terms of literacy in the world(source: CIA world fact book 2014). Poverty alleviation and healthy India is possible with complete literacy.
