GSL SMART LAB Simulation Training | Resuscitation Science | Emergency Medicine | Virtual Reality | POCUS |

Healthcare and medical education faces an ethical impasse on using patients as practicing tools as it is bounded by an obligation to provide optimal treatment while ensuring patient safety. To this end, the latest concept of simulation plays a crucial role in acclimatizing healthcare professionals with all the required skills in performing the most complicated procedures without risking patient sa

fety. Simulation based training has been standardized in various high-risk professions such as aviation, military and nuclear power to assure safety and curtail risk. Modern healthcare also seeks such competency based instruction. Simulation based medical education not only helps in error management, training for risky procedures and assessing competences but also provides a safe learning environment for repeated practice of meta-cognitive and psycho-motor skills. GSL Clinical Simulation Laboratory - A world class medical and surgical training platform aims a remodeling the approach towards patient safety and care in India. It has a cutting edge training system with new age high fidelity simulators, a modern skills lab with basic & advanced skill trainer mannequins, premier faculty with enormous experience in their respective fields, a dedicated team and most importantly, a vision to make GSL Clinical Simulation Laboratory a seemly destination for world class Surgical and Medical Training.

The GSL Team effectively collaborated with the Athmabanduvulu Seva Sangam to instruct the Basic Life Support programme as a service. We were blessed to work with such fascinating individuals who were eager to learn, and we aim to save as many lives as we can.

The Athamabandhu Seva Sangam

This Aathmabandhuvulam idea was created by Shri Sheethaala Usha Kiran.

He organised multiple medical camps by working with generous funders, doctors, and committed friends. He is a photographer by trade. Less fortunate members of the public might choose from a range of medical services, including eye exams and operations.

It was chosen to aid Corona victims during the Corona epidemic. For those who go for daily morning walks, he formed the Whatsapp group Aathmabandhuvulam (Walking). Numerous Corona victims received assistance from this organisation in a variety of ways.

This group's main purpose is to plan charitable initiatives. This big-hearted platform hopes to improve at least a few lives.
