Gopashtami is a festival that is dedicated to Lord Krishna and cows. It is the coming-of-age celebration when Krishna's father, Nanda Maharaja, gave Krishna the responsibility for taking care of the cows of Vrindavan.

Respected parents greetings from Ghps ABC alphabet school
The students of The ABC alphabet school celebrated the Amla Navmi in school campus. A special assembly was organised in which all the students perform arti of lord Vishnu and Mother Lakshmi. After that the principal (Isha Bajaj) delivered a speech on significance of the day and told the story related to the special day. All the students took the parikarma of Amla plant.Then parsad was disturbed among students. All the students enjoyed the special rituals with religious fervour. The aim of these activities is to connect the students with our tradition s and culture .

Diwali , Deepavali, or Divali,also known as the Festival of Lights is a Hindu religious[6] festival and one of the most important festivals within Hinduism.It generally lasts five days (or six in some regions of India), and is celebrated during the Hindu lunisolar month Kartika (between mid-October and mid-November).One of the most popular festivals of Hinduism, it symbolizes the spiritual "victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance".The festival is widely associated with Lakshmi, goddess of prosperity and Ganesha, god of wisdom and the remover of obstacles, with many other regional traditions connecting the holiday to Sita and Rama, Vishnu, Krishna, Durga, Shiva, Kali, Hanuman, Kubera, Yama, Yami, Dhanvantari, or Vishvakarman. Furthermore, it is a celebration of the day Rama returned to his kingdom in Ayodhya with his wife Sita and his brother Lakshmana after defeating the demon Ravana in Lanka and serving 14 years of exile
