Athena World School celebrated " Goswami Tulsidas Jayanti" on 19th August. The programme started with Lamp Lighting & garlanding on a picture of " Tulsidas Ji". Our Teacher Mrs Alka Goud has given a speech on the Biography of Tulsidas Ji & Mrs Mamta Sharma has read some inspiring " Doha" of Tulsidas Ji. Principal Sanjay Sharma has emphasized to learn by heart a few " Choupais"of Shri Ram Charit Manas. Principal Coordinator Mrs Shweta Bakshi told the importance of Shri Hanuman Chalisa. The programme ended with Shri Hanuman Chalisa paath.

Athena World School, Raipur, Chhattisgarh, celebrated the 80th Independence Day and 150th anniversary of National song, "Vande Mataram" with full devotion, nationalism and patriotism. Dr. Vikas Vijay Bajaj, Chairman, School managing committee and flag bearer of the day, hoisted the flag. The children with National tri colour flags in their hands made the moments extra ordinary. To pay tribute to Mother India, inter house patriotic dance competition was organized in the school auditorium which was exceptionally performed by our children. Our esteemed judges on the occasion were Madam Bharti Kiran Sharma, Retired executive with state electricity board; Dr. Sonal, Professor, Homeopathy College and Dr. Rajshree Shukla, Professor Human Physiology. In her address Madam Bharti Kiran Sharma expressed her utmost happiness on the performance of the participants. Dr. Vikas Vijay Bajaj appreciated the performance from the students and emphasized on body and mind fitness. Director, Raj Shekhar Paliwal and Principal Sanjay Sharma emphasized on Nation first. Yellow House won the competition. Full version of Vande Mataram was played and sung at the end of the event.

India is unique in symbolizing all its festivals as agri pro seasons. We, the Indians are highly obliged by experiencing all salubrious seasons. Our tiny tots welcomed the Sawan, the month devoted to rains and worshipping Lord Shiva. The Shiv Arti followed by speech and Bhajans from juniors of classes Nursery to II and of course scintillating dances based on Sawan.
The programme was highly impressive with active participation from Dr. Vikas Vijay Bajaj, Chairman, Madam Priti Bajaj, Co founder and Pujya Mataji, Smt. Santosh Bajaj. Our worthy Chairman, Director and Principal addressed the gathering.

Keeping the Guru-Shishya Parampara alive, the Athenites celebrated the Guru Purnima parv, 2026 with high spirit and dedication on 29 July, Wednesday. The programme with high spiritual integrity was conducted in the central hall. All teachers and students attended the programme.

The Athenites on Saturday, 18th July, witnessed the Ninth Investiture Ceremony. The newly elected Student council got into the sworn in Ceremony under the mentorship of Dr. Vikas Vijay Bajaj, worthy Chairman, Shri Raj Shekhar Paliwal, Director and Shri Sanjay Sharma, Principal. The elected Head Boy, Aditya Yadav and Nancy, the Head Girl addressed the gathering. The council comprises of Heads, Vice Heads, Co curricular in charges, House captains and Class captains. The programme was highly professional and assisted by Priyanka Kumar, Shweta Bakshi, worthy House in charges, teachers and class X students.

Lord Jagannath, the facilitator of life on Earth and a symbol of divinity and all seing. Junior Athenites happily carved the Trinity using colourful fluids and expressed their devotion for the deity. Students of classes Nursery and PP II tots with performing art.

Conceptualization of electoral process in India in the form of School council formation. To make aware the children of the process, the Athenites used their franchise to elect the collective council of Athena World School as Head Boy, Head Girl etc.
The event was highly informative and fun filled.

The true democracy lies in the collective efforts. The Athenites today on 4th July, exercised their franchise to elect the leaders of their choice. The section was conducted in very serene way depicting the real electoral phenomenon. Enacting as CRPF and Police personnel by some students created the atmosphere. The teachers played Vital role in accomplishing the process. The Investiture ceremony will be held on 18 July, 2026.
