Seminar on ' The Importance of Liberal Education '

A seminar was conducted for students of Classes 9 to 12 on the topic -'The Importance of Liberal Education in the current context and How it shapes students' careers.
Mr. Abhishek Singh Sikarwar Asst. Director of Sai University Chennai graced the occasion as the facilitator and he was received with warm welcome by Honorable Vice Principal Ma'am Mrs.Shanmuga Sundari.He interacted with the students in their arenas of interest and motivated them to hone C.21st skills and follow their own passion. The efficiency of Liberation education in the current scenario was well highlighted in the session.

Special Assembly on Journalism

To present the concept of journalism constructively the students of class 7A conducted a special assembly. The assembly commenced with a thought .The assembly started with the interview of the concerned class teacher.
Students performed a song on journalism & recited a poem on the same.A story of five friends was narrated & a speech on journalism was delivered. The students also performed a semi classical dance.
Honorable Vice Principal Ma'am Mrs. Shanmuga Sundari addressed the assembly and appreciated the students' efforts.

Special Assembly on Determination

Students of class IV conducted a special assembly on the topic- Determination.
Students spoke about what is determination and why it is necessary in our life. Students organised various activities like on-
shlok,thought,word of the day,news,poem,speech,quiz,dance.
Through their performances students were encouraged not to give up and lose hope in whatever circumstances come on our way.
Director of KPSI Mr.Abhishek Tripathi appreciated the students for their performances and gave suggestions to set their goals for better future.

World Television Day

For acknowledging both benefits and drawbacks of Television, class 7B and 7C conducted their assembly on topic World Television Day on 22nd November 2024. The assembly started with Sloka followed by thought, new word and news. To harness television's potential an act was shown to drive positive change and support sustainable development.

got a Cheque of Rs.12,000, certificate of merit. Both boys and girls team were felicitated with ' Champions Trophy ' for their performances in NEXUS-Annual Techno Cultural Sports Meet by SSIMPT, Raipur.

Word Students' Day

A special assembly was conducted on ' Word Students' Day by students of Class 9B. The assembly commenced with the motivational thought of Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam followed by Shloka. To enrich the vocabulary ' word of the day' was shared followed by the news headlines and an informative speech. Students performed a dance drama showing the life of Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam. Honourable Director of KPSI, Mr. Abhishek Tripathi praised students' efforts for the assembly.

Children's Day

On the occasion of Children's day a special assembly was conducted by teachers for students. Following the regular norms shlok, word of the day, special thoughts were delivered. Teachers presented prayer song and group song seeking blessings for students. To make the assembly more engaging group dance compiling popular tunes of Bollywood numbers were staged and a fun filled skit was enacted by the teachers with a constructive message for the students. Speech was delivered explaining the relevance of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru for Children's Day. Respected Director of KPSI, Mr. Abhishek Tripathi showered his blessings for the lovely children of KPSI.

Chhattisgarh Foundation Day-

A special assembly on the occasion of State Foundation Day was conducted by students of Class 6B. Students presented thought, word of the day and speech focusing on the folk literature and tradition s. Ground dance performance was staged by candidates emphasizing the importance of state heritage. Honourable Vice Principal Mrs. Shanmuga Sundari motivated students to learn more about Chhattisgarhi culture and language and praised for their energetic performance.

Avni Gupta secured Second position for the semi classical category and she was felicitated with Natwar Gopikrishna National Award for International Competition of Dance, Music and Instrument- organised by AIDA in association with Nrityathi Kalakshetram- supported by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India.

Anchit Srivastava, Aashutosh Mishra and Aayush Chandrawanshi qualified for the city level round of CBSE Heritage Quiz and would represent KPSI for regional level at Bhubaneswar.

Assembly on Social Media

Students of Class 6A got the opportunity to conduct a special assembly on the topic of social media. The assembly started with shlok followed by the thought of the day, word of the day and News Headlines. Hindi poem on social media was recited with the message of how students are involved in social media and wasting time. Later on the speech on the positive and negative effect of social media was delivered. At the last a skit was enacted highlighting the impacts of the different social media. Honourable Vice Principal Mrs. Shanmuga Sundari appreciated the special assembly and advised students to use social media thoughtfully.

KPSI Organizes Origami Art for the students of Nursery to Kg2 in CCA Activity.

Out of 33 candidates at National level the only student of Chhattisgarh, Arunav Gupta studying in Class 10 has completed the CBSE Science
Challenge 2024-25 with his highest performance.

Special Assembly on National Post Day.

The students of Class IX-C conducted the special assembly on the topic 'National Post Day'.

The assembly aimed to make the students aware regarding the importance of postcards. It was done through the mode of speech, sharing amazing facts ,quiz and other more interesting activities.

Honourable Vice Principal Ma'am Mrs. Shanmuga Sundari motivated the students with her words and recollected her childhood experience of sending and receiving post cards while emphasizing the art of writing letters. The assembly was well appreciated.
