ড. মেঘনাদ সাহা কলেজ প্রযোজিত এবং কলেজের সিনে ক্লাব নিবেদিত স্বল্পদৈর্ঘ্য চলচ্চিত্র "আলোকমুখী" দেশব্যাপী বিভিন্ন ক্ষেত্রে সাফল্য অর্জনের পর আমাদের আরও একটি আন্তরিক প্রয়াস—উত্তর ও দক্ষিণ দিনাজপুরের তিনটি উল্লেখযোগ্য লোকসংস্কৃতিকে কেন্দ্র করে নির্মিত তথ্যচিত্র "মাটির কাছে দিনাজপুর"।

২৩ জুন, ২০২৬ তারিখে এই তথ্যচিত্রটি প্রথমবারের মতো শুধুমাত্র আমাদের ফিল্ম মেকিং কোর্সের অংশগ্রহণকারী এবং ড. মেঘনাদ সাহা কলেজ পরিবারের সদস্যদের জন্য বিশেষ প্রদর্শনীর মাধ্যমে উপস্থাপিত হয়।

আগামী দিনে বৃহত্তর পরিসরে একটি বিশেষ প্রদর্শনীর আয়োজন করা হবে বলে আশাবাদ ব্যক্ত করেছেন আমাদের শ্রদ্ধেয় উপাধ্যক্ষ ড. মুকুন্দ মিশ্র মহাশয়। তাঁর উৎসাহ ও অনুপ্রেরণায় এই উদ্যোগ আরও বৃহত্তর দর্শকের কাছে পৌঁছাবে বলে আমরা আশাবাদী।

অসংখ্য ধন্যবাদ আমাদের ফিল্মের পরিচালক শ্রী সৌরভ সরকার মহাশয় কে, আন্তরিক কৃতজ্ঞতা ও ধন্যবাদ মাঙ্গলিকা মুখা দলের কর্ণধার ড. অভিজিৎ চৌধুরী ও অন্যান্য সকল সদস্যদের, অসংখ্য ধন্যবাদ খন একাডেমি এন্ড রিসার্চ সেন্টার এর পরিচালক শ্রী সুদেব সরকার ও তার দলের সকল সদস্যদের, ধন্যবাদ জানাই ইসলামপুর এর পাঁচালী দলের পরিচালক শ্রী যতীন সিংহ ও অন্যান্য সকল সদস্যদের। বিশেষ ধন্যবাদ ড. মেঘনাদ সাহা কলেজ এর ভূগোল বিভাগের প্রধান অধ্যাপক রূপাই হেমব্রম ও পদার্থবিদ্যা বিভাগের প্রধান অধ্যাপক প্রসেনজিৎ চৌধুরী মহাশয়কে এই ফিল্মটির সঙ্গে ওতপ্রোত ভাবে যুক্ত থাকার জন্য।
