If you don’t receive the voting slip just do the following:-

If you visit NVSP.in, on your left-hand side there will be an option ‘Search Your Name in Electoral Rolls’, click on it, a new page will open, where you will be required to fill personal details. If your name is found, it will appear below the same page.

On view details tab next to your name, click to open another page. It will have all information such as your name, name of polling station, number of the polling booth, electoral list number, voter card number. If you have one, it will appear on this new page.

Just take a print out of this page and you are all set to vote.

However, remember this printout is not your ID proof, before leaving for the polling station, you must carry any of the 10 documents allowed by the Election Commission to determine your identity.

These documents include voter’s identity card, driving licence, passport, AADHAAR card, passbook issued by a nationalised bank or post office on which there is photograph, MGNERGA job card, health insurance card, pension card issued by ministry of labour and identity card issued by government or PSU to its employees.

The voters between 18 and 21 of age must carry an identity proof which gives their age also.
