NEBULA 2023..

The Department Of Geology, Parvatibai Chowgule College of Arts & Science (Autonomous), Margao, Goa, in association with ‘Club Nebulites -a student venture’, had organized an intercollegiate event ‘NEBULA 2023’ for students of higher secondary schools and colleges on 01st March 2023. The event aimed at spreading awareness about geology and inspiring young minds to develop enthusiasm and interest of the subject.
The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Sunil V, Scientist D & Scientist-In-Charge – Deep Sea Survey and Exploration from National Centre for Polar and Ocean Research (NCPOR), Ministry of Earth Sciences, Govt. of India, who was invited as the Chief guest and Mr Akash Mokal, an alumnus of the department, currently working as drill and blast engineer at Panoramic resources in Australia.
The event was packed with informative expert talks, exhibition, competitions, games and lots of enthusiasm. The attendees were students & faculty members from three different higher secondary schools, four colleges and few alumni guests. Fr. Agnels Multipurpose Higher Secondary School stood out as the overall winners of Nebula 2023 in the higher secondary category and Government College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Sanquelim were declared winners in the college category.
