Happy 138th Birth Anniversary to Srinivasa Ramanujan, the self-taught Indian mathematical genius.
He discovered nearly 4,000 original theorems and equations, many of them so far ahead of their time that they were proven only decades after his death.

India observes National Mathematics Day today to commemorate Ramanujan’s birth anniversary and to celebrate his extraordinary legacy in mathematics.

NATIONAL MATHEMATICS DAY 🧮

ON this day, we celebrate the genius of Srinivasa Ramanujan, the man who redefined the infinite. The equations mentioned here were given by him in 1914 when he was just 26 are now being used to study black holes and string theory. Not all of us may know his name or the depth of his genius, but every time we marvel at the wonders of mathematics, we owe a debt of gratitude to Srinivasa Ramanujan. On National Mathematics Day, let's honor the man whose brilliance touched infinity and beyond.
