| The Commerce Association was inaugurated at our college on 13th August 2026 at the Vaidehi Auditorium by Dr. Arun Prakash, Special Officer – Student Welfare and Head of the Department of Economics, Vivekananda College of Arts, Science & Commerce (Autonomous), Puttur.

The event was presided over by Sri Deviprasad, Head of the Department of Commerce of our college. Sri Pavan Rajesha Mogeraya, President of the Commerce Association; Sri Shaman N., Vice President; Sri Parth, Secretary; and K*m. Sahithya K. G., Joint Secretary of the Commerce Association, were also present on the dais.

Teaching and non-teaching staff members and students were present on the occasion.

| The Literary Association was inaugurated at our college on 12th August 2026 at the Vaidehi Auditorium by Dr. Arun Prakash, Special Officer – Student Welfare and Head of the Department of Economics, Vivekananda College of Arts, Science & Commerce (Autonomous), Puttur.

The event was presided over by Smt. Dayamani T. K., Head of the Department of Chemistry of our college. Smt. Rathnavathi B., Convener of the Literary Association, was also present on the dais.

Teaching and non-teaching staff members and students were present on the occasion.

| A Farewell Ceremony was organized at our college on 5th August 2026 at the Vaidehi Auditorium to honour two dedicated members of the Vivekananda Institutions, Puttur, on their retirement from service.

Sri S. Sathyanarayana, who served as an Office Attender for 36 years at Vivekananda College of Arts, Science & Commerce (Autonomous), Puttur, and Vivekananda Pre University College, Puttur, and Smt. Leelavathi P., who served as a Lab Assistant for 25 years at Vivekananda Polytechnic, Puttur, and Vivekananda Pre University College, Puttur, retired from service after their long and dedicated association with the Vivekananda Institutions.

The farewell ceremony was presided over by Smt. Vathsala Rajni M., Director of our College Governing Council. Sri Devicharan Rai M., Principal of our college, was present on the dais.

Heads of various departments and teaching and non-teaching staff members participated in the event and conveyed their heartfelt appreciation and best wishes to the retiring staff members for their years of dedicated service and their future endeavours.

| The 80th Independence Day was celebrated with patriotic fervour at our campus on 15th August 2026. Sri Krishna K*mar Shetty Kadaba, President of Vivekananda Vidyavardhaka Sangha, Puttur, hoisted the National Flag on the occasion.

Sri Vijayanarayana K. M., Secretary of Vivekananda Vidyavardhaka Sangha, Puttur; the Directors, Presidents, Correspondents, and Heads of various institutions under the Vivekananda Vidyavardhaka Sangha at Vivekananda Campus, Nehru Nagar; along with teaching and non-teaching staff members and students of various institutions at the Nehru Nagar Vivekananda Campus, were present on the occasion.
