The United Nations is set to launch a project on creating an “inventory” of art forms, craftsmanship and other intangible cultural heritage of the country.

This course is designed to teach the students about the conceptual understanding of the subject and to equip them with practical knowledge of computing, audio-visual moving images, archiving, and using Information Technologies for conservation, preservation and dissemination of art and culture. This course gives emphasis on Fundamental of Cultural Informatics, Research Methodology, User Interface Design, Heritage and Museum Studies, Audio-Visual Archiving, Cultural Anthropology, Indian Arts and Knowledge System, and Cultural Heritage of Rajasthan. The course is also oriented towards finding jobs in relevant area of activities of the cultural Institutions.
