Children with Special Needs and Their Peers at Ummeed Day Care Centre, Pushkar, demonstrated the true strength of democracy through their Child Parliament meeting.

Pushkar, 22 August 2026: A Child Parliament meeting was organized at Ummeed Pushkar(A Unit of Rajasthan Mahila Kalyan Mandal Ajmer)The meeting provided children with an opportunity to actively participate in democratic decision-making, discuss issues related to their school and take collective decisions through discussion and consensus.

The children actively discussed school-related issues and took important decisions through a democratic process. In a significant step towards equal representation, Priyanka was unanimously welcomed as the first girl member of the Child Parliament.

Prem was also given the responsibility of the new Sports Minister, while the members wished the previous Sports Minister, Parmeshwar, a speedy recovery.

Geeta Sagar Foundation, Ajmer also distributed educational reference books and workbooks for children and school staff.

By giving children a platform to express their opinions, make decisions and take responsibility, the Child Parliament is helping nurture confident, responsible and empowered young citizens.

On the occasion of India’s 80th Independence Day, Harsh*ta Hada, a student of Ummeed Day Care Centre, Pushkar(A Unit of RMKM Ajmer), showcased her incredible talent through a cultural performance at the Independence Day programme organized by the Pushkar Nagar Parishad.

With remarkable confidence, enthusiasm and determination, Harsh*ta captivated the audience and beautifully demonstrated that disability can never limit talent when children receive the right opportunities, encouragement and support.

🏆 Her outstanding performance was recognized and she was honoured by the administration at the Sub-Divisional level.

The Ummeed pushkar team, parents and fellow students proudly congratulated Harsh*ta and wished her continued success and a bright future.

Celebrating Freedom, Dreams & Inclusion at Ummeed Day Care Centre, Pushkar

Umeed Pushkar, jointly run by Rajasthan Mahila Kalyan Mandal (RMKM), Chachiyawas and Purana Rangnath Temple, celebrated India’s 80th Independence Day on 15 August 2026 with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit.

The programme began with the National Flag hoisting and National Anthem in the presence of Chief Guest Mr. Mukesh Kumawat, Former Vice-Chairperson, Municipal Council Pushkar, distinguished guests, parents and children.

Children with Special Needs showcased their talent through patriotic songs, poems, speeches and cultural performances. Their performances beautifully reflected their love for the nation while remembering the contributions of India’s freedom fighters.

The celebration also encouraged confidence, participation, social connection and a strong sense of patriotism among the children. Guests, staff and parents warmly encouraged the children, while sweets and fruits were distributed to mark the occasion.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Centre Teacher Ms. Bhagyashree Nagar, acknowledging the support of all guests, parents and staff members who contributed to making the celebration memorable.

🎉 Celebrating 52 Years of Service & Inclusion at Ummeed Pushkar 💙

Ummeed Pushkar, a unit of Rajasthan Mahila Kalyan Mandal (RMKM), Chachiyawas, Ajmer, joyfully celebrated the organization's 52nd Foundation Day on 18 July 2026.

The celebration began with a floral tribute to our revered founder, Late Shri Sagarmal Ji Kaushik (Bauji). Team members shared the inspiring journey, vision, and mission of RMKM, highlighting its commitment to empowering children with special needs and building an inclusive society
To mark the occasion, children participated in creative painting and model-making activities using recycled materials under the guidance of our special educator and physiotherapist. Their innovative creations beautifully showcased RMKM's major educational and rehabilitation centres, with enthusiastic participation from parents as well.

The celebration concluded with a joyful cake-cutting ceremony, where children, parents, and staff came together to celebrate 52 years of compassion, inclusion, and empowerment.

✨ Annual Celebration Filled with Joy & Talent at Ummeed Day Care Center, Pushkar ✨

Rajasthan Mahila Kalyan Mandal in collaboration with Old Rangnath Temple, Pushkar, organized the Annual Celebration at Ummeed Pushkar with great enthusiasm and happiness. 💙

Children with Special Needs showcased their talents through cultural performances, winning the hearts of everyone present. During the event, annual examination results were announced and students with outstanding performance were honored with certificates and prizes. 🏆

Special recognition was also given to talented students Lokendra Singh, Parmeshwar Rawat, Kailash Rawat, and Prem for their excellent achievements in sports activities.

The program was graced by Chief Guest Shri Mukesh Ji Kumawat along with distinguished guests, parents, social workers, and staff members, who encouraged the children and wished them a bright future. Fruits and biscuits were distributed among the children during the celebration. 🍎🍪

At **Umeed Day Care Center, Pushkar**, ( A unit of Rmkm Chachiyawas ) and Old Rangnath Temple Pushkar, Holika festival was celebrated on 28th February 2026 in a unique and inspiring way. Divyang children played Holi with flower petals instead of colors and water, spreading a strong message of water conservation and environmental protection.

The program was graced by Chief Guest Shri Rajendra Mahawar, Special Guests Manju Parashar, Dr. Anju Katare, Kailash Singh Rawat, and an international guest from Italy, along with parents and community members. Through cultural performances, music, and joyful celebrations, the children shared the message “Save Water – Save Future,” taking a collective pledge to protect natural resources and celebrate festivals responsibly.

On 3 December 2025, Ummeed Pushkar (A Unit of Rajasthan Mahila Kalyan Mandal, Chachiyawas Ajmer & Purane Rangji Temple) celebrated the diversity, dignity, and inclusion

This year’s theme focused on “Showcasing Talent & Skill Development of Children with Special Needs – Expanding Equality & Opportunities.”

Ummeed Pushkar- The Ray of Hope , a unit of Rmkm Chachiyawas had the honor of hosting **13 delegates from , Virginia Toledo (Spain)** who visited to understand diverse disabilities and inclusive learning approaches.

The guests received a warm **Rajasthani-style welcome** by Center Incharge **Mr. Bhanwar Singh Gour** and the team—filled with music, dance, and vibrant cultural cheer. 🎶💃

Throughout the visit, the delegates interacted with our children, participated in joyful activities, and shared unforgettable moments of connection. They also brought **specially prepared gifts** for the students, which brought smiles to every face. 🎁✨

In a deeply appreciated gesture of support, the group **donated a laptop** to the center—strengthening tools for learning and inclusion.

RMKM Joint Director **Mr. Anurag Saxena** presented an insightful overview of RMKM’s mission, achievements, and long-standing commitment to empowerment.

The concluding day of Inclusive Art and Cultural Activities under Ummeedo Ke Rang was filled with joy, creativity, and togetherness — beautifully capturing the spirit of inclusion and empowerment. 💫

🎨 Rajasthan Mahila Kalyan Mandal (RMKM), Ajmer organized a vibrant Mehendi Workshop, where inclusive students showcased their artistic flair by applying stunning henna designs on the audience’s hands. Guided by special educators Karuna Sharma and Saroj Sharma, the students impressed everyone with their skill, confidence, and creativity. 🌿✨

🛍️ The day also featured the DAKSHA Handicrafts Exhibition, coordinated by Rekha Meghwanshi and Shreya Tiwari, displaying a wide range of handcrafted products made by Persons with Disabilities (PWDs). Visitors were inspired as they learned how RMKM provides vocational training to empower PWDs with sustainable livelihood opportunities.

💖 The audience enthusiastically participated, appreciated the students’ efforts, and supported the initiative by purchasing handmade products — making the final day a memorable celebration of ability, art, and inclusion. 🌟
