World Cancer Day was established in 2000 on February 4 by The Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) in Paris at World Summit Against Cancer for the New Millennium to raise awareness of cancer.
The official colours of World Cancer Day are blue and orange. The 2022-2024 World Cancer Day theme is: 'Close the Care Gap'.

World Cancer Day is celebrated across the globe on the 4th of February to raise awareness among the general public regarding Cancer. The World Cancer Day also aims at inculcating compassion within people towards the ones fighting this life altering disease.

Let's celebrate this day with the team of RIC, and raise awareness about the disease Cancer.
