Dear devotees, friends, and well-wishers,

We would like to share an important update regarding our beloved Srila Maharaja and ask for your continued prayers and support.

By Krishna's mercy, a clear treatment plan is now moving forward. Maharaja is scheduled for a pre-operative appointment on June 16th, followed by prostate surgery on June 23rd. The hope is that this procedure will allow his catheter to be removed, opening the door for much-needed physical therapy.

On June 12th, Maharaja will be transferred to a rehabilitation facility in Brownwood. Following his surgery and recovery, he is expected to be transferred to a rehabilitation facility in Austin, Texas, on July 12th where he will continue his physical therapy and recovery.

We are happy to share that Maharaja is in very good spirits and is eager to begin physical therapy and to once again associate with the devotees in Austin. He is already showing encouraging signs of progress—he is able to walk with less support than before and has even begun taking his meals outside, enjoying the fresh air and sunshine.

Our heartfelt prayer is that this next phase of treatment will enable Maharaja to regain his strength, improve his mobility, lose excess weight, and ultimately return to living independently. Above all, we pray that he will once again be able to travel, preach, and personally associate with and guide his disciples and well-wishers around the world.

As these transitions take place, we are also facing significant practical expenses. Maharaja's personal belongings will need to be packed, transported, and placed into storage, as they will no longer remain at New Gokul Farm after June 26th. We also hope to continue providing him with fresh, healthy prasadam throughout his rehabilitation as much as possible.

We wanted to share a sweet and encouraging update on Srila Maharaja’s daily care.

By your kindness and support, we have been able to prepare fresh, nourishing prasadam for Maharaja every day. Some of his favorites lately have been chickpea dal, yellow mung dal, zucchini subjee, and freshly made naan. It has been a blessing to serve him in this way and to see him take pleasure in these simple, healthy offerings.

We are also happy to share that Maharaja is gaining strength in his legs and is needing less support when walking. This is very encouraging for his recovery.

These funds have already been used to purchase a walker with wheels to help Maharaja move more safely and comfortably, as well as a nebulizer to assist with his breathing.

Please accept our humble update regarding our beloved Gurudeva, Srila Maharaja.

On 5/5/26, Maharaja was released to home care but later that night was taken to the ER due to a medical complication with his kidneys. By Krishna’s mercy, he received stabilizing treatment and was able to return home today. He will be meeting again with his specialists very soon to determine the best long-term plan for his health and daily care.

We are grateful that he is back home, and we continue to rely on your prayers and support during this time.

On 4/30/26, Maharaja developed an infection that required him to be taken to the ER. By Krishna’s mercy, he has now received treatment and medication, and is currently recovering at his rehabilitation center. We are deeply grateful for your continued prayers and support during this time.
