School clubs also provide a safe space for learners to nurture and develop life skills of their choices. Through participating in club activities, children will learn to prioritize and manage time well, gain insights into possible career aspirations. Yoga For Humanity!

As we are very much aware that, our body is like a temple. Yoga is a light, which once lit will never dim. The better your practice, the brighter your flame. This year the theme for the celebration of International Yoga Day is "Yoga for humanity". Paving the path, the young learners of GNPS II observed the International Yoga Day in school premises in the presence of revered Principal, Mrs. Madhumita Sahoo along with teaching staffs and non- teaching staffs. The yoga instructor with the various forms lead the day successfully. Children from STD - I to STD- X have participated enthusiastically in the morning session of Yoga Day.

Listen to your body!

In meditation you first get sense control. And yoga will help you with the body
and mind control. When the mind is steady, concentration will come
automatically. When you get such concentration, then you get peace of mind .
Guru Nanak English Medium Public School II organised Yoga Day for students on
13th April, 2022 for classes 7th to 10th with much fervour and enthusiasm. The
students demonstrated various asanas followed by Omkar chanting. Warm up
exercises were done and all the students performed sitting and standing asanas.
The session concluded with some breathing techniques and exercises like
Pranayams, Meditation and Relaxation with Laughter yoga. The students were
encouraged to practice regular yoga to remain fit and improve concentration as
they showcased a very energetic and spirited performance!

Beginning of the New chapter 2022

With new hopes and full of eagerness, Guru Nanak E.M. Public School-II,
Gudiapokhari organised a welcome ceremony for the shining stars of the
institution after two years of pandemic situation. It’s the moment that we are
together paving the path of incredible and productive school year. The day tuned
with welcome song, presented by the teachers of the institution. Our enthusiastic
learners were welcomed through the traditional way of showering flowers, with
chandan followed by Vedic Prayer and the welcome speech by Principal, Mrs.
Madhumita Sahoo. As we know, each year brings positive changes and this year
too our goal is to provide support and encouragement for each budding talent in
their journey to improve the quality of life and education.
