BIS celebrated National Mathematics Day on 22 December 2025 to mark the birth anniversary of Srinivasa Ramanujan. An Inter-House Junior Quiz and student presentations were conducted. Green House secured first position, followed by Blue and Yellow Houses. Winners were awarded medals and certificates by the Principal, Mrs. Sangeeta Bhasin Ji.

🏆 Two-Day School Sports Meet Concludes Successfully 🏆
Bhasins International School proudly concluded its two-day Annual Sports Meet with great enthusiasm and sportsmanship. Students from Classes I to XII showcased remarkable energy and talent, making the event truly memorable.
The Sports Meet began with a disciplined march-past by the athletes, followed by a Guard of Honour presented to the dignitaries. The inaugural ceremony was graced by our esteemed Chief Guest, Mr. Jaiveer Singh, District Sports Officer, Pilibhit, along with distinguished guests Mr. Jai Prakash Baghel, Secretary, Hockey Association Pilibhit; Mr. Mahesh Azad, President, Diamond Club; and Ms. Simran Singh, Gold Medalist (10,000 m) at the Khelo India Games.
The torch lighting and balloon release by the school management, led by Mr. Akshat Bhasin and Principal Ms. Sangeeta Bhasin, marked the official opening. A melodious welcome song and a vibrant folk dance added charm to the ceremony.
Exciting competitions including Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Athletics, Tug of War, Chess, and Volleyball were conducted. Teams from Azad, Gandhi, Tagore, and Bhagat Houses participated with great zeal. Heats and semi-finals were held on Day One, while the final matches took place on Day Two.
The valedictory ceremony was graced by Mr. Ajit Pratap Singh, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Puranpur, who distributed trophies and medals to the winners.
🏅 Azad House emerged as the Overall Champion, securing eight gold medals.
The event concluded on a high note, celebrating teamwork, discipline, and the true spirit of sports. 🎉⚽🏃‍♂️

We are thrilled to share that our school participated with great enthusiasm and excellence in the CBSE Science Exhibition (LPS Lucknow) held under the supervision of the CBSE Regional Office, Lucknow.

With immense pride, we announce that BIS has secured the 2nd Position at the State Level in our category among 57 participating schools!
Only one model from this category has been selected for the National Level.
Heartiest congratulations to Nipun Khandelwal (Class VIII) and Rishabh Sharma (Class VII) for their outstanding performance and confident demonstration.
Their innovative model based on AI-Based Farming and Automated Solar System impressed the judges and earned well-deserved appreciation at the Regional Level.

🏑🇮🇳 Celebrating 100 Glorious Years of Indian Hockey! 🇮🇳🏑

Today, we proudly celebrate 100 glorious years of Hockey India — a remarkable journey of legacy, determination, and love for sportsmanship.
The journey began on 7 November 1925, and even today, hockey continues to inspire millions with its spirit and pride.

India’s hockey story is filled with golden triumphs — our nation has won 8 Olympic gold medals (in 1928, 1932, 1936, 1948, 1952, 1956, 1964, and 1980), making us one of the most successful teams in Olympic history.

To celebrate this proud legacy, BIS organized a friendly student hockey match today, saluting Hockey India for its glorious contribution to Indian sports.
The Diamond Hockey Club, which has been a beacon of hockey in Puranpur and the surrounding region for the past 35 years, also actively participated in this program, adding pride and enthusiasm to the celebration.

*NCC Selection Drive in School*

Today, our school had the privilege of hosting officials from the *25 UP BN NCC* for the student selection process. The team, led by *HAV Santanu Samanta and HAV Sunil Dhaka , conducted a series of tests including running, height, weight, and other formalities to select deserving students for this prestigious group.
