The Power of One

Keep your eyes and ears open for economically weaker sections of the society who are good in studies earn a college degree. Thanks to Friends, Family and well-wishers we have received handsome donation that will allow the Trustees of 'The Power of One' to sponsor the tuition fees of many bright students who aren't as privileged as we are for the academic year 2020-21.

Mahesh Hawaldar who is currently studying in HV Desai College, Pune scored 80% in B.Com Ist year and was ranked 3rd in his college. The Power of One educational trust (http://www.thepowerofone.co.in ) paid his tuition fee for his 2nd year as well. Proud of you Mahesh!

A time comes in every individual's life when s/he feels proud of a certain accomplishment. It could be in personal or professional life. It need not be significant, could just be a small or big achievement in sports, academics, job, extracurricular activities, for a social cause or making a marked difference in someone’s life.

Yesterday was one such day, when our educational trust, 'The Power of One' made its debut by sponsoring the education of the three toppers of Poona Night School. Their story featured in various newspapers after the results of 12th standard was announced 10 days ago.

Amar Shinde scored 80%, Vitthal Deshmukh, 79% and Santosh Padnekar 78% after toiling hard working during the day and then attending school in the night. Two of them would be pursuing B.Com and the other BA. The trust has paid their fees for the first year and will also be sponsoring their education for the remaining two years if they continue to excel in their studies.

These students are lucky and so are the Trustees. It is because of the donation of our friends, family members, acquaintances and well-wishers that the trust was able to collect sufficient funds and thus realise the dreams of these aspiring students who want to pursue higher studies, but are simply not able to because of financial constraints.
