Founded in August 2013, Vikramaditya Academy a division of VB Foundation, is the brainchild of visionary cop Mr.Vikram Bokey. Today, social, economic, safety and security needs of a citizen are very different than yesterdays. We are going through a major shift as far as our security and safety requirements are concerned. From a reactive force, we are moving towards a proactive organization. For peaceful living, neighborhood security is as important as border security. The factors outlined in the above paragraph are major influencers for our Forces, which are now experiencing many structural changes. In addition, advanced technology, communications and infrastructure has introduced a new dimension to the Forces. As a result many new job avenues are opening up in this sector. In the coming decade, we will be experiencing the birth and growth of an emerging new sector- ‘Safety and Security’. The glimpses of which have already begun to be seen. Vikramaditya Academy sees this ‘emerging trend’ as an opportunity and to positively contribute towards nation building by providing education, training and career options for youth in the Forces. Our academy has been relentlessly working on the course design & curriculum, keeping in mind various forces requirements and schedules. Our council of advisors is actively involved in the design, forces and industry relations. Our academy will also provide necessary logistical support during recruitment rallies where basic accommodation and wholesome food at a reasonable cost will be made available to the students of Vikramaditya Academy .
व्ही.बी. फाऊनडेशनचाच एक भाग असलेली विक्रमादित्य अकॅडमीची स्थापना ऑगस्ट २०१३ मध्ये दूरदृष्टी असलेले पोलीस अधिकारी श्री. विक्रम बोके यांच्या विचारांतून झाली. आजच्या तरुणांना प्रशिक्षण देऊन आणि सुसज्ज करून भारतीय संरक्षण सेवा, निमलष्करी दले, विविध पोलीस दले आणि खासगी सुरक्षा सेवा (या सर्व सेवांसाठी यापुढे दले किंवा सेना हा शब्दप्रयोग वापरु.) यासारख्या सेवांमध्ये तरुणांनी आपले भविष्य उज्वल करावे याच उद्देशाने या संस्थेची स्थापना करण्यात आली आहे.

आजच्या युगातल्या नागरिकांच्या सामाजिक, आर्थिक, संरक्षण आणि सुरक्षा या गरजा या पूर्वीच्या काळापेक्षा खूपच बदलल्या आहेत. विशेषतः संरक्षण आणि सुरक्षा या संबंधीच्या गरजांकडे बघताना लक्षात येईल की आपण एका मोठ्या बदलाला सामोरे जात आहोत. एखाद्या घडून गेलेल्या घटनेवर प्रतिक्रिया म्हणून काम करणारी दले या संकल्पनेपासून दूर जाऊन आपण अश्या घटना घडूच नयेत म्हणून आधीच खबरदारी घेणाऱ्या स्वयंप्रेरित संस्थांच्या दिशेने वाटचाल करीत आहोत. शांततापूर्ण जीवनासाठी आपल्या भोवतालच्या परिसराची सुरक्षा हीदेखील सीमेवरील सुरक्षेइतकीच महत्वाची झालेली आहे.
वर उल्लेख केलेल्या बाबींचा आपल्या सशस्त्र सेनांवर प्रभावकारक परिणाम होऊन ही दले आता आमूलाग्र आणि रचनात्मक बदलांना सामोरी जात आहेत. याशिवाय प्रगत तंत्रज्ञान, संपर्क आणि पायाभूत घटक यामुळे सेनांना नवीन परिमाणाची ओळख झाली आहे. या सर्वांचा एकत्रित परिणाम म्हणून या क्षेत्रात नोकरीच्या अनेक नवीन संधी उपलब्ध होत आहेत. येणाऱ्या दशकात आपण ‘सुरक्षा आणि संरक्षण’ या क्षेत्राचा उदय आणि त्यात होणारी वाढ अनुभवणार आहोत. या सर्व बदलाची झलक दिसायची सुरुवातसुध्दा झाली आहे.
या नव्या व उगवत्या कार्यप्रवाहाकडे विक्रमादित्य अकॅडमी एक विलक्षण संधी म्हणून बघते आणि शिक्षण व प्रशिक्षण याद्वारे तरुणांना सशस्त्र दलांमधील विविध व्यवसायमार्ग खुले करून देशाच्या उज्वल निर्माणात सकारात्मक हातभार लावते आहे.
विविध सशस्त्र सेनांच्या/दलांच्या गरजा आणि त्यांची कामांची वेळापत्रके यांना अनुसरून आमची अकॅडमी अभ्यासक्रमाच्या आखणीसाठी अविरत परिश्रम घेत आली आहे.
