Clara Global School, SHP Branch, celebrated the 80th Independence Day of India on 15th August 2026 with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit.
The celebration was graced by Mrs. Anagha Joshi as the Chief Guest, along with the Directors, Mr. Sagar Babar and Mrs. Sarika Babar. Mrs. Anagha Joshi, who was Mr. Sagar Babar’s teacher, added a special and meaningful connection to the occasion.
The programme commenced with the flag hoisting ceremony, followed by the National Anthem. This was followed by a short cultural programme showcasing the talent and patriotic spirit of the students. The winners of the Inter-House Singing and Dance Competitions presented their performances, accompanied by a melodious patriotic choir. Students from the Secondary Section also delivered inspiring speeches reflecting on the significance of Independence Day and their responsibilities as young citizens.
A special highlight of the celebration was the felicitation of the winners of the “My Clara, My India” event, recognising their creativity, participation, and patriotic spirit.
The celebration concluded on a warm and cheerful note with snacks being distributed to the students. The programme successfully brought together students and staff in a spirit of patriotism, unity, and pride in our nation.
