The sports day 2022 was celebrated with huge enthusiasm at our centre today. The children participated in various competitions and exhibited their sporting skills. The teacher and the staff also had a field day appreciating and adoring the little ones' cute, innocent in hilarious actions.

Today is Nelson Mandela International Day!

Commemorated on July 18th every year on this iconic world leader’s birthday, it is a day that celebrates the idea that each individual has the power to transform the world and the ability to make an impact.

In honour of this international peacemaker, human rights lawyer and prisoner of conscience who went on to become the first democratically elected president of a free South Africa, and his 67 years or relentless public service, the UN and the Nelson Mandela Foundation urge us all to spend 67 minutes of our time helping others in our own little way,– because after all, it is the little changes that go on to make a big difference, isn’t it?

Pandharpur Yatra (आषाढ़ी वारी) has a very special place in the hearts of Vithoba's devotees. In this 700+ years old tradition, thousands of pilgrims walk barefoot for 21 days, dawn to dusk, and cover a distance of 250 km carrying the Palkhi venerating Sant Dyaneshwar and Sant Tukaram.

A small replica of the Palkhi was decorated at the school. Children dressed as warkaris carried the Palakhi on their shoulders chanting praises of Vitthala and Rakhumai.

Children enjoyed the celebration so much that they kept chanting the vitthala vitthala right to their homes.
