*Raksha Bandhan Celebration with a Social Cause*

Heritage International School, Kasaramboli, celebrated Raksha Bandhan on 8th August 2025 with a noble social cause, aiming to foster values of respect, gratitude, and community service among its students.

This year’s event was dedicated to honoring the Mulshi Appativyavasthapan Sanstha for their outstanding contributions to society. Continuing the school’s tradition of recognizing social contributors, the celebration highlighted the importance of social awareness and community engagement.

The event was held in the school auditorium, where students warmly welcomed the guests and tied rakhis as a symbol of respect and brotherhood. The program included inspirational speeches by the guests and students, emphasizing the significance of Raksha Bandhan and the pivotal role of social organizations in community development. The guests also shared real-life experiences that deeply inspired the students.

The chief guest of the event was Mr. Pramod Pandit Balkawade, Chairman of the Mulshi Disaster Management Committee, accompanied by three esteemed team members.
Their presence and valuable contributions were deeply appreciated by the school.

The celebration was graced by the presence of: Mr. Krishna Bhilare ( Founder , President), Mrs. Sangeeta Bhilare( Secretary) ,Directors Mr. Kunal Bhilare & Mrs. Yashaswini Bhilare, Ms. Samidha Bhilare & all Teaching Staff

Principal Dr. Renu Patil expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the honored guests and encouraged students to embrace the values of kindness, unity, and service in their lives.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks followed by the distribution of sweets, leaving everyone with a sense of pride and purpose. It was truly a memorable celebration that beautifully combined tradition with social responsibility.

The Newspapers in Education (NIE) program uses newspapers as a teaching tool to enhance literacy and develop a reading culture among students. It aims to improve reading comprehension, critical thinking, and overall academic performance by engaging students with real-world content. NIE programs also foster social awareness and good citizenry by exposing students to current events and diverse perspectives.

Taking into consideration Heritage International School management members Mr.Krishna Bhilare (Founder President),Mrs.Sangeeta Bhilare (Secretary), Directors Mr.Kunal Bhilarers.Yashaswini Bhilare and Principal Dr.Renu Patil has taken initiative to issue the NiE newspaper for students .

The main objectives are based on the following importance:

Heritage International School , Kasar Amboli, celebrated NagPanchami and Kargil Victory Day on 28 th July 2025 with great enthusiasm and active participation from students of Grades 1-10.
The event aimed to instill cultural values and patriotism among students.

To mark Nagpanchami , a clay modelling competition was held for Grades 1 and 2. Students of Grades 3 to 5 created posters on the theme and displayed them in the school. Mehandi and tattoo competitions were conducted for Grades 6 and 7. Grade 8 presented a PPT on the significance of Nagpanchami, which was witnessed by students of Grade 6 to 8 in the space lab.

In connection with Kargil Victory Day, Students from Grades 9 and 10 who weren't involved in other events wrote essays in English,Hindi or Marathi to honor the sacrifice of Indian soldiers.The program was conducted from 11:00 am to 2:30 pm.
The celebration took place in the presence of Mr. Krishna Bhilare Founder President, Mrs Sangeeta Bhilare, Secretary, Directors Mr.Kunal Bhilare, Mrs. Yashaswini Bhilare and all teaching staff.

Principal Dr. Renu Patil addressed the students and appreciated their involvement. She emphasized the importance of remembering national heroes and preserving cultural heritage.

*Nelson Mandela Day*

Heritage International School celebrated Nelson Mandela International Day on 18th July 2025 with great enthusiasm and respect to honour the legacy of the great leader, Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela. The event aimed to educate and inspire students about Mandela’s lifelong struggle for justice, equality, and human rights.

Students from Standards 7 and 10 participated in the celebration. The program began with a brief introduction about Nelson Mandela’s life, followed by the screening of a short documentary video showcasing his journey from a prisoner to a President and a global icon of peace and reconciliation.

After watching the video, an engaging question and answer session was conducted. Students actively participated and reflected on key aspects of Mandela’s contributions, including his fight against apartheid, his values of forgiveness, and his belief in unity.

Teachers encouraged students to share what they learned and how they can contribute positively to society in their own ways. The session not only enhanced the students' understanding of global history and social justice but also inspired them to become responsible and empathetic citizens.

The celebration concluded with the message that even small acts of kindness and courage can bring about significant change in the world—just as Nelson Mandela once said, “It is in your hands to make a better world for all who live in it.”
This program was held in the presence of school management members Mr Krishna Bhilare, Founder President, Mrs.Sangeeta Bhilare, Secretary, Directors Kunal Bhilare, Yashaswini Bhilare , Dr. Renu Patil Principal and Teachers.

“World Youth Skill Day”

World youth skill day is the day to highlight the importance of skilled youth in addressing global challenges. This day is celebrated on July 15th every year, year 2025 witnesses the 10th anniversary of the World Youth Skill Day.
At Heritage International school “World Youth Skill Day” was celebrated with great enthusiasm that aimed to focus on the importance of equipping the youth with skills for employment and decent work. The event was dedicated to raise awareness about youth skill development and address the challenges of unemployment and underemployment.
The event was embraced with the presence of youth guests Ms. Aditi Patil(Btech in Biotechnology).Ms. Akriti Singh(B.E. in CS) . Both the guests interacted with secondary students of the school, making them aware about the year 2025 theme of World Youth Skill Day raising the importance regarding youth empowerment through AI (Artificial Intelligence) and digital skills. The guests raised the curiosity of student by sharing their experiences and explaining the importance of AI, digital tools and green technologies,21st century skills to prepare a skilled future ready workforce. The guests also addressed the best way of tackling unemployment is by equipping the youth with- in demand skills that enhances opportunities for decent work and entrepreneurship contributing to a stronger global economy.
The interactive session was concluded with a vote of thanks expressing sincere gratitude to both the guests and highlighted the event's positive impact. The students also thanked the Principal, Dr. Renu Patil and the school management for organizing the event and making the day a very special, memorable and knowledgeable one.

Heritage International School Sparks Dialogue on World Population Day 2025

With energy and purpose, Heritage International School, Kasar Amboli, commemorated World Population Day 2025 with a dynamic awareness program that brought together students, educators, and school leadership to reflect on one of the most pressing global concerns—population growth.
The celebration wasn’t merely symbolic; it was a well-structured educational event aimed at fostering dialogue around issues such as rapid population growth, reproductive health, family planning, and gender equality. Through a thoughtful blend of performances and presentations, the school created a platform where young voices could engage meaningfully with real-world challenges.

The morning opened with primary students setting a thoughtful tone by reciting a specially written poem and singing a theme-based song that emphasized the significance of World Population Day. Their heartfelt performance was accompanied by a vibrant display of handmade posters, each carrying messages urging for action and awareness.

Stepping forward, secondary students brought data and insight to the forefront. Through meticulously created PowerPoint presentations, they explored the causes of overpopulation, its consequences, and sustainable conservation strategies. Their work reflected deep research, critical thinking, and a strong grasp of global and local implications.
Principal Dr. Renu Patil took to the stage to share a powerful message on the consequences of unchecked population growth. In her address, she urged students to become informed citizens and future changemakers, emphasizing the vital role this generation plays in shaping a balanced and sustainable society.

Adding to the momentum, school management leaders—Mr. Krishna Bhilare, Secretary Mrs. Sangeeta Bhilare, and Directors Mr. Kunal Bhilare and Mrs. Yashaswini Bhilare—applauded the efforts of students and faculty.
