*Books vs Screens β A Powerful Special Assembly by Empowering IIIE!*
On the occasion of World Book Day, the Empowering IIIE students of C M International School presented a thought-provoking courtroom drama titled βThe Case of Books vs Screens.β The performance beautifully highlighted the importance of reading while encouraging the balanced and mindful use of technology.
In the courtroom, both Books and Screens presented their arguments. Books reminded everyone that βToday a reader, tomorrow a leader,β emphasizing the timeless value of reading. Screens, on the other hand, showcased how technology can make learning interactive, engaging and easily accessible.
The message became even more impactful through real-life witnesses. A student spoke about distractions caused by excessive screen time, a teacher highlighted how books build strong fundamentals and a parent expressed concern over the growing dependence on screens. Together, they reinforced the important lesson that βToo much of anything is harmful.β
In the final verdict, the court concluded that books remain the true foundation of learning, while screens should be used wisely and in moderation.
Final Message: Use technology smartly, but never replace the habit of reading. Choose Books Before Screens!

Our school turned into a world of stories, imagination, and endless possibilities as we celebrated World Book Day with great excitement.
Books came alive not just in pages, but in voices, expressions, and curious minds. Our students from Grade 3 onwards brought along their favorite storybooksβeach one a doorway to a new adventure. As they stepped forward to present their 5β6 minute summaries, the classroom transformed into a stage of storytellers, thinkers, and confident young speakers. Every story shared was a glimpse into a childβs imagination and understanding.
Meanwhile, our little readers of Grades 1 and 2 were taken on magical journeys through engaging storytelling sessions. With every word read aloud, their eyes widened with wonder, proving that the love for reading begins with listening, feeling, and dreaming.
A book is never just a bookβit is a friend, a teacher, and a guide. It teaches us to think, to feel, to question, and to grow. In a world full of distractions, today reminded us that a quiet moment with a book can spark the loudest ideas.
We didnβt just celebrate books todayβwe celebrated curiosity, confidence, and creativity. Because when a child reads, a future is written.
Letβs keep turning pages, building dreams, and nurturing mindsβone story at a time.

π Earth Day Celebration β Nurturing Young Earth Warriors πΏ
Our school celebrated Earth Day with great enthusiasm and a deep sense of responsibility towards Mother Earth. The theme of the day, βOur Power, Our Planet,β inspired students to realize that even small actions can create a big impact in protecting our environment.
The campus came alive in beautiful shades of blue as students dressed in blue outfits, symbolizing our planet and its life-giving water. Classrooms were creatively decorated with meaningful boards, vibrant drawings, and powerful messages spreading awareness about environmental conservation.
Aligned with our No Plastic Challenge, students were encouraged to say no to plastic and adopt eco-friendly habits. They actively learned to avoid plastic bags, bottles, and wrappers, and instead use steel bottles, cloth bags, and reusable lunch boxes. They also understood the importance of segregating waste, reusing materials, and protecting our rivers, oceans, and wildlife.
A special assembly was conducted where students confidently shared their thoughts on saving the Earth. The highlight of the day was the Earth Day pledge, where everyone promised to keep the environment clean, green, and plastic-free.
This celebration was not just an event but a meaningful step towards building lifelong habits. Our young learners truly emerged as responsible βEarth Warriors,β ready to use their power to protect our planet and create a cleaner today for a safer tomorrow.
