For effective ex*****on of Quick Response Services, special half-day training to Quick Response Team (QRT) members was conducted on 24th Feb 2019.

The subjects covered as under:-
- Welcome note and introduction of project (Dr.
Bhagyashree Kakade)
- Reasons behind violence at hospitals (Dr. Jayant
Navarange)
- Role, Duty & Responsibilities of each QRT member (Dr.
Santosh Kakade)
- Hospital Security Audit Checklist (Shrikant Patil)
Protocol (N A Khan)
- Project details & functioning (Rajan Naik)
Conclude Note (Suresh Kamalakar)

Approx one hundred retired police men are enrolled to participate as QRT member for this unique concept project to prevent violence at hospitals.

First Orientation Training to QRT members of Quick Response Services was conducted on 26th Jan 2019. Dr. Santosh Kakade, Mr. Sudhakar Kamlakar,

Mr. N A Khan, Mr. Shrikant Patil, Mr. Vidyadhar Dadake addressed the QRT members. They were guided on various aspects viz. their role as Quick Response Team Member, How the team will function, do’s and don’ts, checklist to audit hospital security, etc.

CIILM & NPKS Team members met Commissioner of Police, Pune - Dr K Venkateshm. Team members explained the QRS (Quick Response Service) project to CP.

Dr K Venkateshm praised the efforts and steps taken to prevent the violence against the Doctors & Hospitals. He assured full support from Pune Police to QRS project.

“Quick Response Services (QRS)” a Joint Project of ‘Nivrutta Police Kalyan Sanstha (NPKS)’ and ‘Core India Institute of Legal Medicine Pvt. Ltd. (CIILM)’ was launched on Sunday, 13 th Jan 2019 at Police Headquarters, Pune.

QRS Project will undertake various measures to with respect to attacks on doctors and hospitals. A team of retired police officers, who are experts in disaster management, will be ready for intervention. Purpose of QRS is to prevention, prohibition and redressal in such incidents.

At the launching of the project many dignitaries from police as well as medical field was present. Mr. Pravin Dixit (former Director General Police, Maharashtra &Member - MAT) as Chief Guest of this function. Dr. Sancheti graced the occasion. Dr. Shrikant Kelkar (Founder of National Institute of Ophthalmology & Senior Ophthalmic surgeon), Dr. Santosh Kakade (Non-judicial Member), Dr. Sanjay Gupte (President - Board of Governance - CIILM), Mr. Suresh Kamalakar (President - Central Committee - NPKS) was the speakers. Dr. Mohan Agashe (Psychiatrist and eminent theatre& film actor) Chaired the function.
