Nine years ago, we had a vision for Hirameki but no roadmap. What we did know was simple: we wanted to bring India and Japan a little closer, and we wanted to do it through people, not just lesson plans.

Today, that vision has a life of its own.

It shows up in 38 teammates who show up for every class. It shows up in thousands of students who walked in curious about Japanese and walked out with a new language, a new confidence, sometimes a whole new career. And it shows up in every one of you who has been part of this journey with us, whether you sat in a classroom, joined us on Zoom, or simply cheered us on from the sidelines.

They say the journey shapes the traveller. Building Hirameki has shaped us just as much as we hoped it would shape the students who walked through our doors.

So today isn't just our birthday. It's a thank you to everyone who made these nine years mean something.

Here's to many more years of learning, growth, and bringing two countries a little closer, one student, one teacher, one conversation at a time.
