Understanding mathematics / geometry through models as a Summer Camp activity could prove to be exciting, entertaining and at the same time a real challenge to the grey matter in us.

The relatively elder children of grade 4/5 cannot and should not be given same activity as the preschoolers. At Little Elly Baner (99750 27074), we gauge their current level of knowledge / understanding, their ability to do something out of the box, something they don't tell you in schools and a complete freedom to ask any questions and make mistakes. Making mistakes is knowing what not to do and that is what is sorely missing from our system.

The annual summer camp of Little Elly Baner started with enthusiastic children and the teachers looking forward to an eventful, entertaining month ahead.

Spending free time fruitfully and interestingly during Summer months especially after the final exams are over is it challenge not only for the parents but for the children too. Summer camps offer an appropriate diversion from the routine of watching TV or spending time on mobile to some interesting and entertaining activities allowing physical, mental and intellectual growth of the child.

A detailed activity plan is drawn ensuring all kinds of activities right from art and craft, drawing and painting, sports, song and dance, fireless cooking, social & presentation skills, yoga, Indian culture etc. etc.

We, at Little Elly, Balewadi, are glad to announce the Summer Camp 2018. As usual the camp will be full of activities, entertainment and education for your little one. The camp duration is from 5th to 30th April, Monday to Saturday (except 7th & 14 Apr), from 9 am to 12 pm.

Actvities include prayer/shloka, physical exercise/yoga, best from the waste, art & craft, painting, drawing & colouring, fireless cooking, song & dance, story telling etc. etc.

Fees:
Full one month (21 days) Rs. 2,500

It was a beautiful, sunny Sunday morning in the typical Pune winter which is just beginning to make its comfortable cool air felt. Normally, for children as well as for the adults, it is a holiday which starts a bit late, rather lazily, and just drags along a late breakfast, newspaper reading, TV viewing and right through to the lunch.

But not today!!

Toddlers, youngsters, adults and even senior citizens of Baner-Balewadi today threw their blankets away when it was still dark, resisting its warmth and cozy feel to get ready with full wintwr gear and hit the Balewadi Highstreet.

Happy Streets are always loads of fun just to take an early morning walk and watch revellers set the tone for the day with energetic Zumba and some lilting old melodies presented by none other than the residents.

Little Elly - The Concept School, is always in look out for opportunities to interact with young children and providing them platform to demonstrate their creativity and expressions. The stall put up by Little Elly was one of the busiest with children thronging there in large numbers, sometimes jostling with each other to get a colouring sheet, a balloon, a chance to jump on trampolene or to ride their favourite (plastic) animal on wheels. It was positivity and happiness writ large on the faces of doting parents and grand parents who were competing with each other to get that photograph of their child sketching / painting in that perfect angle.
