I’m sure many of you will be surprised to see this message—especially since I’ve been mostly silent on social media over the years. But today, I felt a strong urge to reconnect.

Exactly 33 years ago, I started my first batch. From a modest beginning with just 22 students in 1992, to seeing packed classrooms of 500–600 bright, curious minds—what a journey it has been! And what made it truly special was you. Each one of you brought energy, questions, laughter, and a shared passion for learning that made every moment in the classroom a joy.

Whether you were part of my very first batch or joined years later, you’ve played a meaningful role in shaping my life as a teacher. Your affection, respect, and enthusiasm gave me a deep sense of fulfilment and purpose. Watching many of you soar high—leading teams, companies, and making an impact across the globe—fills my heart with immense pride and joy.

Do you know that you can cut down your study time or study more in the same time?

✅ Yes, it’s possible if you follow one simple rule during preparation.

✳️ Create 'Essence Book'.
Have you observed Accounting problems on any topic?

If yes, then you might have noticed that around 95% of the problem is the same! It has the same structure and it contains almost the same adjustments. And remaining 5% of the question consists of tricky adjustments which will test your understanding of concepts.

Here lies your smartness. Soon after learning a particular topic, your memory is fresh. So, note down all tricky adjustments in a separate notebook. You are extracting the 'Essence' of each topic. So this book consists of the core part of all topics and acts as a summary book.

This will save your revision time tremendously. You can revise the entire topic in less time by focusing on all tricky adjustments.
Very important - You have to note down in 'Essence book', soon after learning a particular topic, when your memory is still fresh.
It is noticed that if a student normally takes say 10 hours to revise a particular topic, then, by following this one tip you will revise just in 3 hours!
