The Investiture Ceremony at Podar International School, Sara City, was celebrated with great enthusiasm and dignity.

Podar International School conducted a special assembly on the occasion of English Language Day, commemorating the birth anniversary of William Shakespeare. Students from Grades IX and X participated enthusiastically in debates, panel discussions, and poem recitations, showcasing their creativity and confidence. Students from Grades I to VIII also engaged in a variety of class activities to mark the occasion. Grade I conducted “Pass the Ball,” while Grade II organized a “Word Basket” activity. Grade III students participated in short story writing, and Grade IV conducted a “Pass the Ball – Make the Story” activity. Grade V engaged in an advertisement-making activity, while Grade VI enjoyed a fun tongue twister session. Grade VII participated in a “Pass the Story” game, and Grade VIII conducted a debate competition. Hon. Principal Mrs. Archana Karande guided the students and emphasized the importance of English literature and developing strong reading habits.

The Investiture Ceremony at Podar International School, Sara City, was celebrated with great enthusiasm and dignity. The program began with a warm welcome of esteemed Chief Guest and Respected Principal Ma'am. The occasion was graced by our esteemed Chief Guest, Hon. Mr. Sunil Dnyaneshwar Kashid Patil, Joint Commissioner, State Tax (GST), Pune Zone. The newly elected student council members were formally invested with badges and sashes, symbolizing the trust and responsibility bestowed upon them. In his inspiring address, the Chief Guest emphasized that leadership is not about command, but about service, responsibility, and setting a positive example. He motivated the students to work as a team, believe in themselves, and uphold the values of the school. The Hon. Principal, Ms. Archana Karande, congratulated the students and encouraged them to lead with integrity, responsibility, and dedication. The Council President(Girl), the Council President(Boy), and other council members solemnly took an oath to serve the school with sincerity and commitment. The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks and the rendition of Vande Mataram.

Podar International School, Sara City, successfully conducted the Student Council Election fostering democratic values among students. Learners from Grade IV to Grade X participated enthusiastically, exercising their right to vote with responsibility.

Students cast their votes for various leadership positions, including Students President (Boy & Girl), Discipline Captain (Boy & Girl), Cultural Secretary, Assistant Cultural Secretary, Sports Captain, Sports Vice Captain, and other key roles. The process was conducted smoothly, ensuring fairness, transparency, and secrecy of ballots.

The election provided students with hands-on experience of democracy, helping them understand the importance of voting, making informed choices, and respecting diverse opinions.

Overall, the initiative was impactful in nurturing leadership skills and developing responsible, aware citizens of the future.
