If you’re weighing yourself every morning and letting that number decide whether you had a “good” or “bad” day, please stop.
🛑 Your body weight is not a fixed number.
It can fluctuate because of your
✔️
menstrual cycle,
water retention,
sodium intake,
carbohydrates,
digestion,
constipation,
stress,
sleep and
even a hard workout.
And here’s the part most people forget: you can lose fat and gain muscle while the number on the scale barely changes.
That’s why I don’t want you looking at one weigh-in and deciding that your diet “isn’t working.”
Look at the trend over time. Look at your measurements. Notice how your clothes fit. Track your strength, energy and consistency.
The scale is one data point. It is not the complete picture of your progress.
Especially for women, stop chasing a lower number just because it looks good on the scale.
Your goal should be better body composition, not simply a smaller body weight.
Save this for the next time the scale goes up and you start questioning everything.
