An evening wrapped in pajamas, laughter, and a whole lot of love—our little graduates celebrated big milestones in the warmest way possible. With proud smiles, heartfelt hugs, and certificates in hand, it wasn’t just about moving forward… but cherishing everything that brought them here.

A potluck filled with flavours, conversations filled with memories, and a room full of parents, teachers, and our little stars—together, celebrating moments that will stay forever.

World Forum on Early Care and Education 2026 in Kuala Lumpur felt less like a conference and more like a shared pause — a coming together of hearts from across the world, all thinking deeply about children and the future we are shaping for them.

What stayed with me most was the intentionality behind it all — the thoughtful design, the balance of meaningful sessions and informal connections, the study tours, and the spaces created for real conversations. It wasn’t just about learning; it was about belonging.

Between sessions, school visits, and those quiet in-between moments — walks, laughter, long conversations — something shifted. Strangers became connections, and connections became people I will carry forward.

A heartfelt thank you to Bonnie and Roger for planting and nurturing this vision over the years. To Anne, her incredible team, and the volunteers who made everything flow so seamlessly. To the entire Core Team and Board of Directors — each one of you — for creating something so expansive yet deeply personal.

Special gratitude to Madolynn for being so approachable and forthcoming, and to Laurie — my ‘Bee’ — for always being so generous with support.

This journey has been deeply meaningful for me — from being a participant in 2017 to presenting in 2026. Working closely with Masarrat, and seeing the commitment of people from across the world, has made me reflect on how I want to step more intentionally into this space.

I return with perspective, with people, and with a renewed belief: when voices come together with intent, they don’t compete — they create something collective, something lasting.

Grateful to be a small part of something so much larger. 🌍✨
