When my friend saw her son , finding it hard to make new friends and at times feeling a little lonely, she and her friend , both amazing mums of neurodiverse kids, came up with something brilliant!
They created a social app called Buddy Up ,designed especially for people with disabilities and their caregivers. How incredible is that!
This app is going to bring so many people together and make such a difference!
So, let’s spread the word and cheer them on!

INCLUSIVE STORY TELLING...Workshop with Anita Iyer
-Would you like your stories to feature Persons with Disabilities?
-Would you like to have Persons with Disabilities in your audience?
-Do / can / must Persons with Disabilities tell stories too?
If you are a story teller and your answer to all three questions is a resounding YES, this workshop is for YOU!
Stories are perhaps the easiest route to a person's mind at any age, and story telling is a powerful tool. Whether it is a stammer or a limp, Disabilities have often been depicted insensitively - as comic relief or tear jerkers. It is time to change the narrative and encourage empathy. Our workshop will help you get to know more about Disabilities, terminology, social attitudes, stigmas, etc., and round off with a fun interactive session.
