For years, governments and businesses have been making commitments to net-zero. Universities are now stepping up to provide skilled human capital to transform those commitments to completion!
What cannot be measured cannot be managed. Measurable actions are pre-requisites for Net Zero. They are essential steps to avoid Green-Wash. Measurable actions require not just knowledge but skills. Skills to verify, assess and navigate through GHG emission data to reach the destination. Skills transform the declaration to determination and then reach the destination.
Smart Campus Cloud Network (SCCN) of global universities is innovative catalyst for skill-building to raise human-capital for Net Zero. SCCN deploys 'experiential learning' as approach for skill-building! And such learning takes place in the campus of universities by transforming it as the 'living-laboratory' for students. This exactly is the place where piloting of the net-zero is conducted. No other network of universities in the world has such approach to seal the skill-gap.
That gap is sealed by building a UDaN: University Dashboard for Net-Zero - to track and measure online. It monitors on real-time basis the University Determined Contributions (UDC)-that mimic Nationally Determinded Contributions (NDCs). UDC is now the innovative mechanism agreed by YOUNGO-Energy, constituency of UNFCCC.
And here comes the key announcement made on the Earth Day: An unprecedented technology partnership for Net Zero-between our Green TERRE Foundation (GTF) and Adyra (Adyra ESG Technologies) to build digital visual platform for skilling the students under Smart Campus Carbon Network (SCCN). Objective ? 3 Ms for 2 Vs! 'Measure, Manage and Monitor' the emissions data as well as 'Verify and Validate' it-not just report it.
At GTF, SCCN's UDaN (Hindi word for 'flight') is synonym of rigour! Adyra turns that rigour into reality.
