The 2026 theme — Acting locally for global impact — reminds us that the biggest changes begin small and close to home. So we started where we stand: our own campus. Native grasses are returning, pollinators are finding their way back, and every undisturbed corner is becoming a living classroom in coexistence.
Rewilding isn't about control. It's about stepping back and letting ecological functions flourish - soil that breathes, insects that pollinate, birds that nest, and webs of life we're only beginning to understand. A patch of restored land here strengthens the larger web of life everywhere.
