Prof. (Dr.) Alka Maurya, Director, Symbiosis Institute of International Business (SIIB), joined the Education Leaders Roundtable: Building Inclusive Institutions - From Policy to Practice, held as part of the World Inclusion Conference (WIC) 2026.
The roundtable brought together academic leaders to exchange perspectives on translating inclusive education policies into meaningful institutional practices.
The discussions reflected SIIB’s continued focus on building an inclusive academic environment and reinforced the importance of creating institutions where every learner can thrive.

SIIB, Pune was privileged to welcome 16 distinguished alumni to campus as panelists for the Mock Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GDPI) sessions conducted for final-year students.
The session was enriched by the presence of Ritesh Khera, Amit Bora, Amit Joshi, Swapnil Rathi, Sushrut Jadhav, Shrinand Sunil Kulkarni, Abhijeet Khandagale, Aditya Chavan, Yatin Sonkusare, Shishir Arse, Shashwat Pauranik, Puneet Seth, Ruchika Joshi, Mohammed Fahad, Rauunak Gupta, and Vivek Khatri, whose continued engagement reflects the strength of SIIB's alumni network and their commitment to giving back to their alma mater.
Through their industry expertise and constructive feedback, the alumni helped students strengthen their communication, group discussion, and interview skills, equipping them with greater confidence for the upcoming placement season.

SIIB, Pune, proudly congratulates Dr. Pooja Choudhary, Assistant Professor, on the successful publication of her research paper titled "Generative AI and Responsible Innovation: Impact of ChatGPT.”
Published in Cogent Education, the study explores the transformative role of Generative AI, with a particular focus on ChatGPT and its impact on responsible innovation. The research offers valuable insights into how AI-powered technologies are reshaping teaching, learning, and academic practices while highlighting the importance of ethical and responsible adoption in education.
The journal is indexed in Scopus and Web of Science, with an Impact Factor of 2.0, Quartile Q2, and a CiteScore of 2.9, reflecting its strong academic standing and contribution to advancing research in education.

With expertise spanning Finance Analytics, Business Analytics, Quantitative Techniques, and Research Methodology, Dr. Diksha Dubey Jaroliya combines academic excellence with a strong commitment to continuous learning.
Her research focuses on financial markets, AI in finance, ESG and sustainable investing, exchange rate volatility, investor behaviour, and quantitative financial analysis, with publications in reputed journals and conference presentations.
Dr. Jaroliya integrates analytical frameworks with practical business applications, enabling students to develop data-driven perspectives for informed financial decision-making.

On 1 August 2026, SIIB Pune organised a hands-on workshop on CV Writing, conducted by Ms. Aishwarya Deshpande, SIIB Alumna, Soft Skills Trainer, and Corporate Facilitator.
The workshop focused on building impactful CVs by crafting a compelling professional narrative, leveraging the STAR framework to quantify achievements, using power verbs effectively, developing concise elevator pitches, and understanding the importance of maintaining an updated LinkedIn profile.
The engaging session enabled participants to strengthen their personal brand, articulate their experiences with greater impact, and present themselves confidently for future career opportunities.
