The event kicked off with a welcoming speech, followed by the Yoga Pledge and an initial prayer. Attendees then took part in a led yoga session, embracing the values of physical health, mental clarity, and internal harmony.

Today’s MBA Metaphor activity gave the MBA 2026–28 batch a taste of the fast-paced world of case competitions where ideas are tested, perspectives are challenged, and solutions take center stage.
From analyzing problems to presenting recommendations under pressure, participants experienced the essence of structured thinking, teamwork, and executive communication.

Today, the MBA 2026–28 batch engaged in a meaningful Gender Sensitisation Session led by Ms. Renuka Mukadam. Through thoughtful discussions and real-world perspectives, the session encouraged students to reflect on inclusion, respect, equity, and the role each individual plays in fostering a more conscious and inclusive workplace.
As future leaders, understanding diverse experiences is not just important, it is essential.

As part of the Alumni Thought Leader Series, SIMS welcomed back Mr. Sumit Seth (Batch of 2000), Founder, NeuroBusiness Group Asia & Forum India, for an engaging session on “Become Antifragile – By Working on the Epicenter of Human Resilience.”
Blending insights from neuroscience, leadership, and personal growth, he challenged students to rethink resilience not as the ability to recover from setbacks, but as the capacity to grow stronger because of them.

The placement cell organized a thought provoking session under the series “LeadSpeak : voices that Inspire” by Mr. Chanakya Sehgal, Vice President & Head – Talent Acquisition India from Infosys, offered valuable lessons on leadership, career growth, and personal development. Mr Chanakya Sehgal emphasized that careers are marathons, not sprints, and highlighted the importance of resilience, continuous learning, adaptability, and meaningful networking. The session encouraged students to focus on adding value, asking the right questions, embracing failures as learning opportunities, and cultivating a growth mindset to navigate an ever-evolving professional landscape. A truly enriching interaction filled with practical wisdom and actionable takeaways.
