Chitraleela CHITRALEELA has been dedicated to art education since 1960. We try to create the sense of self respect and self employment. The Govt. Mr.

Institution's goal is not only introduce students to lines, colors & shapes but to nurture a sense of aesthetics, creative thinking & self-confidence. Chitraleela Niketan Kala Mahavidalya (CNKM) is registered Trust under Societies Act incorporated on 11th July 1960. It is registered Education Institution with the Maharashtra Government imparting various courses in the field of Design, Drawing, and

other related courses. CNKM is one of the very few recognized institutions in this field which works with the motto of imparting quality education to students from all sections of the society at very reasonable cost. The primary aim is to provide affordable training and to create workforce for having positive impact on the living standard of the students. course is as per the standards of the Maharashtra Government while the autonomus courses are designed for the latest industry requirements and to promote the artist creativity for the betterment of the industry and thereby the society at large. The Institution has shifted to a new location which is better equipped with all the classroom facilities and a Digital Lab. Now the reorganization of Trust has been done and the young force has taken charge. Shashank Gupte son of Founder Trustee Mr. Umesh Gupte has taken the responsibility of daily operations of the institution and has initiated to reshape the entire course structure. The new course structure aims to combine art and technology together to fulfill the industry requirements and give students an apt career jump start.

At Chitraleela Niketan, this philosophy forms the very foundation of our journey. Since 1960, we may not have chased size, scale, or spectacle — we believed in sowing seeds of creativity, nurturing young minds with the values of observation, expression and artistic discipline. For over six decades, we’ve stood as a quiet but constant presence in the lives of thousands of students — guiding them with care, moulding their skills and igniting a lifelong love for art.

We are proud that students who once held crayons in our classrooms now guide brushes in others' hands. We have seen parents who once studied here now bring their children and even grandchildren, to walk the same creative path. This is not just continuity — it is living heritage.

Because in the end, true impact is not measured in numbers, but in how deeply you influence hearts, how sincerely you pass on knowledge and how meaningfully you shape the future — one student, one stroke at a time.
