Times are changing fast - they have always done in the past and will continue to do so in the future too. What needs to change is our preparedness to change with the change....!
It is crucially necessary that everyone gets equipped to manage the future, its needs, its dynamism, its changing requirements - be it personal, professional or social. Lets think about it .... and support the youth to get equipped effectively.
Professionally - getting ready to face upcoming career based challenges will require updated knowledge, need based skills and competencies to drive growth. These aspects will pave effective way to be well placed for the future. There is a continuous requirement to understand and build the right skills. It is necessary to be different in thinking and actions instead of following the traditional patters of building careers and seeing ourselves in the similar situations. Dare to change and see a changed bright future.
Youth requires right directions and counselling to choose the right path based on the trends, futuristic plans. Youth have been experiencing their earlier batches closely and have great ability to understand what is the best they can opt - under given circumstances. These could be economic trends, own academic performances, financial ability to connect with right academic programs or relevant courses. However, it is necessary to know that even under above stated circumstances, there are options to get brighter in terms of well-laid future aspirations.
It is all about thinking differently and then taking the right moves to ensuring getting effectively equipped for the future. Parents, teachers and various personal and professional counsellors have a role to play and this efforts need to be quicker than what current trends reflect. There are numerous candidates still in state of getting right counselling - in urban and rural society. Directing these youth to get skilled will really be useful gesture by those who study, understand and foresee the future.
Needless to say - youth who have scored well in academics have a platform to step-up their career aspirations. Few may still struggle to understand the best segment they can put their best foot forward. Directing this youth segment is also important.
Similarly, those who could do marginally well or could not get through their exams - need to be largely directed to build 'Need Based Skills' and equip them for the future. "Skilled Person Is Never Unemployed (CEDP)".
