Bagless Day was joyfully celebrated at GIS Chikhali, bringing a refreshing break from routine academics.
The students were excited as the day involved no regular study, writing, or reading. They enthusiastically participated in various fun-filled activities, danced with great energy, and enjoyed games with their peers.
A highlight of the day was the fireless cooking activity, where students prepared a variety of delicious recipes, showcasing their creativity and teamwork. Teachers also conducted engaging and enjoyable learning activities, making the day both fun and meaningful.
The event was graced by Principal Abha Singh Ma’am and Coordinators Vinod Jagdale Sir, Duhita Kulkarni Ma’am, Mahesh Malwade Sir, Madhuri Yewale Ma’am, and Shrinivas Suryawanshi Sir.

Essay Writing Competition at GIS Chikhali📄

Ganesh International School, Chikhali, successfully conducted an Essay Writing Competition for students of Grades 3 to 10 with the aim of enhancing their critical thinking and writing skills📄📚.
Students enthusiastically participated and expressed their ideas on a variety of engaging topics such as My Favourite Season, My Hobby, My Favourite Author/Poet, Importance of English in Communication, and Is Language a Measure of Smartness?💫
The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Principal Ms. Abha Singh, along with Coordinators Mr. Vinod Jagdale, Ms. Duhita Kulkarni, Ms. Madhuri Yewale, Mr. Mahesh Malwade, Mr. Shrinivas Suryawanshi and teachers.
The competition provided a wonderful platform for students to showcase their creativity, language skills, and originality of thought.✨

A cleanliness drive was organized by Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation on 20th April 2026 at Cotton King Chowk (Ward 11). Students performed a skit and dance to spread the message “Cleanliness is Service,” inspiring everyone to keep the city clean and healthy. 🌿

A special assembly was conducted on the occasion of World Earth Day at Ganesh International School. 🌱
Today’s assembly emphasised on
the theme for World Earth Day 2026 (April 22, 2026), “Our Power, Our Planet". This theme emphasizes leveraging community action, accelerating the transition to renewable energy, and boosting accountability for environmental damage to tackle the climate crisis. It highlights that collective, daily action from individuals is essential for a sustainable future. Students enthusiastically took the Earth Day pledge, promising to protect and preserve our environment. 🌿
A meaningful skit was presented by students to spread awareness about saving our planet and adopting eco-friendly habits. 🌎 The Principal and teachers graced the occasion and encouraged everyone to be responsible towards nature. 💚
