Our pioneer school is located in Kesnand Village, via Wagholi, near Pune in Maharastra.

What a fabulous week it has been at Gyanankur! It’s truly been raining medals, and we couldn’t be prouder of our students.
• Chess Champion! A***n Chouhan of Grade 10 bagged the Gold Medal at the prestigious chess competition organized by The Matoshree School. Competing in the Under-17 category, A***n emerged as the winner among 126 participants – a brilliant achievement!
• Innovation at Its Best! Our Secondary School team represented GEMS at the prestigious Tiranga Competition hosted by Amanora School. They returned with a Silver Medal for their innovative presentation and a working model on the safe disposal of used sanitary napkins making them into bio organic material for further use– a socially relevant and much-needed solution.
Kicking Goals at Gyanankur English Medium School
Our spirited Gyanankur English Medium School Football Team has done it again! Participating in the ZP Football Tournament, the boys showcased incredible talent and determination, clinching 3rd place and earning a well-deserved spot at the district-level competition.
Adding to the celebrations, our very own Physical Training Mentor, Mr. Rohidas Bhadale, was honoured with an award for his outstanding contribution to sports – a proud moment for the entire Gyanankur family!

🇮🇳 79th Independence Day Celebration at Gyanankur English Medium School🇮🇳
On 15th August 2025, the grounds of The Resurrection Education Society’s Gyanankur English Medium School, Kesnand echoed with pride and patriotism as we celebrated our 79th Independence Day with great fervour.
The morning began with the solemn flag hoisting and the resonant notes of our National Anthem. The celebration was made even more special this year with the introduction of our very first batch of NCC cadets, who made a proud entry into the school’s history. Their breath-taking march past along with the 4 houses with the captains,drew thunderous applause, symbolising discipline, dedication, and service to the nation.
The programme was further enriched by inspiring patriotic songs, the debut performance of our newly formed school choir, and stirring speeches that reminded us of the sacrifices made for our freedom.
We were deeply honoured by the presence of our Chief Guest, Ms. Sneha Gawade, and our Guest of Honour, Mr. Rajesh Ombase, whose words of encouragement ignited a sense of purpose among students and staff alike.
From the vibrant performances to the unity displayed by the Gyanankur family, the day was not just a commemoration, but a heartfelt salute to our great nation.

✨ A Beautiful Beginning at Gyanankur English Medium School
Last week, ( Gyanankur English Medium School ) hosted its very first Parent–Teacher Meeting for Grades Nursery to 10 — and what a special time it was!
Parents had the chance to meet our dedicated teachers and our new Headmistress, Ms. Selina Samuel, and to share their thoughts about the school.
Their words of encouragement and heartfelt testimonies were truly the cherry on the cake 🍒, filling us with joy and pride.
Hearing how much our parents value the work being done for their children in a remote area like Kesnand reminded us why we do what we do.
Together — parents, teachers, and the school — we are shaping bright futures and, in the bigger picture, making a difference in society. 🌱✨
