How a one year masters’ course of M Sc stand out against the traditional master’s courses?

One year masters’: the course is very extensive. The main difference is the lecture hours are comparatively less but more focus is on self study and hence self study hours are more.

This kind of set up actually channelizes individual’s mind for further higher studies/research. The system encourages independent thinking ability to arrive at logical solutions, investigative ability for literature search through established sources such as standard and reference books and scientific journals.
