Loom to Legacy – Celebrating India’s Textile Heritage!

GIIS Hadapsar’s KG2B Parental Assembly brought the rich and colourful world of Indian textiles to life. Through a captivating skit, our young learners explored the journey of Indian textiles from the traditional loom to modern times, highlighting the dedication of our weavers and artisans. The fashion show showcased traditional attire from different regions of India, beautifully reflecting the spirit of 'Unity in Diversity'.

With enthusiastic participation from our little learners and wonderful support from parents, the assembly became a meaningful celebration of culture, heritage, creativity and learning.

Learning multiplication became fun and engaging for GIIS Hadapsar's Grade 3, 4 and 5 students through the 'Multiplication Flowers' activity. Students solved multiplication facts and filled the petals with the correct products, strengthening their mental computation, accuracy, speed and problem-solving skills. The hands-on activity also encouraged peer learning, mathematical thinking and independent correction.

Through this joyful learning experience, students reinforced multiplication tables, discovered number patterns and built greater confidence in mathematics.

Because when learning is experiential and enjoyable, Math truly becomes Magic!

GIIS Hadapsar celebrated India’s 80th Independence Day with pride and patriotic spirit. The celebrations began with the National Flag hoisting and National Anthem, followed by patriotic songs, dances, speeches and cultural performances by our talented students.

The event beautifully celebrated India’s rich diversity while inspiring students to embrace the values of unity, responsibility and service to the nation.

Together, let us continue to build a stronger, inclusive and progressive India.

Turning Waste into Wonderful Ideas!

As part of our initiative to promote SDG 9 – Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, students of Grades 3–5 from GIIS Hadapsar participated in a creative Best Out of Waste activity. Using cardboard, newspapers, bottles, paper rolls, ice-cream sticks and fabric scraps, our young innovators transformed waste into useful and decorative creations.

The activity encouraged creativity, problem-solving, teamwork and sustainable thinking, showing students that innovation can begin with something as simple as waste!

GIIS Hadapsar celebrated the spirit of Independence Day with a Patriotic Speech Competition for Grades 3–5. Our young speakers confidently shared their thoughts on 'Why I Love My India', 'Our Freedom Fighters', and 'My India, My Pride', showcasing excellent voice modulation, expression, posture and eye contact.

Dressed in traditional Indian attire or school uniforms, and supported by simple patriotic props, students spoke with enthusiasm about India, its freedom fighters, and the values of patriotism, unity and responsible citizenship.

A meaningful activity that helped our young learners express their love for the nation and celebrate the true spirit of Independence Day!

Students of Grades 3 to 5 at GIIS Hadapsar commemorated Peace Day through 'Roots of Peace – Our Peace Tree & Peace Stones' activity. Through colourful leaves and creatively decorated stones, students expressed their thoughts and pledges around peace, kindness, empathy, respect, gratitude and unity.

Their creations came together as a beautiful Peace Tree and permanent Peace Corner, a lasting reminder that peace begins with everyday choices and that even the smallest act of kindness can create ripples of positivity.

At GIIS Hadapsar, students explored fascinating number patterns through an engaging Math Magic Activity, discovering how different four-digit numbers can lead to a wonderful common result. The hands-on activity strengthened logical reasoning, problem-solving, and computational skills while making mathematics an exciting journey of exploration and discovery.
