Like last Saturday today we celebrated second event of ‘ Oasis Chai Katta’ get together. Our invitee were from ‘------------------‘.
This time we come up with SELF ASSESSMENT QUESTIONIER FORM.
As in our previous blog we mentioned you all that Oasis is govt. registered Trust and a society which is enacting as a catalyst serving the requirements of the not only unemployed but also employed though unskilled, directionless humble youth by providing them adequate training in skill development programme and turning them to be productive, sustainable factors to the society.
We strongly believes that education and empowerment of the youth can change the destiny of the nation. Here meaning of youth for us is anyone who is young by heart and energetic, ready for positive changes by accepting challenges. The organization acts as a catalyst in bridging the gap between the industry requirements and the market availability. This we are achieving by building on the capabilities of the youth and making them competent to exhibit their skills in the market.
Oasis believes that in the present scenario of globalization , any effort would not be ineffective unless it is a combined effort. The involvement and contribution from various stakeholders is necessary to make it more productive, responsive and sustainable.
Oasis wants to built up a strong team of more than 500 volunteers and hundreds of community workers working in the all districts of the Maharashtra. As per Oasis vision we want to educate and empower each and every section of the society.

Oasis Sucessfully completed 2nd Chai Katta Discussion

This is the first post of ‘Oasis Chai Katta’ how to empower youth, a focus of Oasis’s efforts to promote, informed and empowered knowledgeable skilled communities.
Todays Chai katta discussion mainly focused to see various options to empower youth.
Ideas shared:
1. Youth need experiences, in short practical knowledge that allow them to be powerful in a positive way. 'A large part of that is the opportunity to try out new identities.
2. Make them awear with – a. current socio-economical changes.
b. Newly emerging trends in the relevant industries.
c. Expectations of industries as far as concerned with employability.
3. Encourage respect for young people's opinions and ensure their perspectives are being heard and valued.
4. Connect youths through different events.
In short we at Oasis simply let them "do." We let them dream and think. We give our youth the tools to collaborate and problem solve, brainstorm and reflect. We empower them to believe that their voice matters without judging or criticizing their ideas. We make them awear with all issues on social, educational background and help them to choose best career option for their best future.
We are love to hear your thoughts, too, on what we can all do to empower youth as change makers.
