“NANOCON”, the International Conference on Nanotechnology, is an endeavor of Bharati Vidyapeeth University, Pune, India, to bring together and provide a platform to the experts from Academia, Industry and R & D institutes from India and abroad to interact, deliberate, disseminate and exchange ideas, share knowledge, and develop a common vision for the future developments in the field of Nanotechno
logy. NANOCON 2010, “Nano Technology-Materials and Composites for Frontier Applications” organized by Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University in association with North Carolina Agriculture and Technical, State University Greensboro, USA, Tuskegee University Alabama, USA and Centre for Materials for Electronics Technology (C-MET), Dept. of India) during October 14,15 2010 at Pune, India was a stupendous success in terms of Technical Content, Active Participation, Good Deliberations, Positive Response and above all, an example of an overall efficient Management System consisting of effective Team Work. From all the research papers presented at this conference, selected ones were published in the International Journals of Nano sciences & Nanotechnology (JNN), Journal of Bionanoscience (JBNS) and Advanced Science Letter (ASL) after peer review. The overall success of NANOCON 2010 has lead to the start of an innovative, inter-disciplinary course, “M.Tech – Nanotechnology”, which will have dissemination of knowledge from, among others, distinguished researchers who participated in NANOCON 2010.
‘NANOCON 2012’ is being organized with the theme ‘NanoTechnology - Innovative Materials, Processes, Products, and Applications’, during October 18-19 2012, at Bharati Vidyapeeth University, Pune, India. A Noble Laureate is expected to be one of the Plenary Speakers and distinguished researchers are on the technical committee as well as on the International and National Advisory Panel of NANOCON 2012. In addition, additional International Journals, besides JNN, JBNS and ASL, have come forward to publish papers, presented at this conference, after peer review.
