📚 Big Changes in CBSE… Are Our Children Ready?
From this academic year, the Central Board of Secondary Education has introduced several important changes in its pattern and approach.
To cope with these changes, how students study becomes more important than how much they study.
In today’s competitive world, many parents feel that more study = better results. But that’s not always true.
Just like overeating can cause indigestion and still leave the body undernourished, overloading the brain with too much information can actually reduce learning.
It often leads to:
❌ Lack of understanding
❌ Mental fatigue
❌ Reduced motivation to study
👉 So what works better?
✔️ Focus on quality over quantity
Let your child learn at a pace they can truly understand.
✔️ Stick to fewer, reliable books
Start with standard textbooks and master them instead of jumping between multiple resources.
✔️ Build strong learning skills
Encourage comprehension, problem-solving, and clear expression rather than just memorization.
✔️ Follow a consistent routine
Just like our body gets hungry at fixed times, the brain also performs best with a regular study schedule.
✔️ Think long-term
When exams are far, focus on gradual improvement instead of unnecessary pressure.
🌱 Remember: Real learning is not about how much your child studies, but how much they actually understand and retain.
Let’s help our children learn smarter, not just harder.
