📌Important UPSC Updates 📌
✔️UPSC Prelims Provisional Answer Keys
Starting from the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2026, UPSC will release a Provisional Answer Key on its official website shortly after the Prelims exam is conducted.
So students won't have to wait an entire year (until the final results) to see the official answers.
✅Optional Subject "Moderation"
UPSC officially acknowledges that it uses inter-subject moderation (often called scaling).
The Goal is to ensure that a candidate taking a "tougher" optional paper isn't at a disadvantage compared to someone taking an "easier" one.
It aims to create a level playing field across different subjects.
✅The Nature of CSAT
The message reaffirms the current status of the CSAT (Paper-II) -
📌It remains a qualifying paper.
📌The difficulty level is officially intended to correspond to the matriculation (Class 10) level.
