Voices Across Times!!

Although International Women’s Day was observed on 8th March, we celebrated it on 14th March with Voices Across Times — an event filled with words, stories, reflection, and expression.

Organized by the Gender Champion Cell, Deccan College PGRI, Pune, the event began with a letter-writing activity and was followed by an engaging open mic session.

The prompts for the letter-writing activity included:

The Roots (To a Mother):
What is the one strength I inherited from you that I finally understand?

The Mirror (To Themself):
What is a struggle you are facing that I promise to help you overcome?

The Seed (To a Future Daughter):
What kind of world am I building for you right now?

What is the one “rule” for women that I am officially breaking today?

The Gender Champion Cell of Deccan College Post-Graduate and Research Institute, Pune is organizing an event titled “Voices Across Time” to celebrate International Women’s Day (to be celebrated on 14th March). The event will include a Letter Writing Session, followed by an Open Mic.
All participants will receive a certificate of participation.

The Gender Champion Cell of Deccan College, PGRI, Pune celebrated International Men’s Day on 19th November 2025 .
The event focused on the mental well-being of men and encouraged open, heartfelt conversations. Students actively shared their thoughts, participated in activities, and helped creating a warm & supportive environment.
The session was engaging, insightful, and it truly helped in breaking barriers around men’s emotional expression.
