Magical Monsoon Day....

Rains are awaited by all. Rains for children means a day full of fun, holding colorful umbrellas, wearing beautiful raincoats and more.
Genius Minds Pre-school joins in the fun and would be welcoming the monsoon with a fun Rainy Day Celebration at both school campuses, where the children also learnt about being Dry/Wet, Raindrops, Puddles, different degrees of rain, among others. Kids also enjoyed the magical monsoon treats like hot bhutta at school....

The tiny tots of Genius Minds Pre-School put up a wonderful show, the 2nd Annual Day celebration, ‘EXTRAVAGANZA 2020’, on 15th March 2020 at Vinkar Sabhagruha and enthralled their proud parents. Teachers, students and the support staff worked tirelessly to put together a most awaited event of the year. In a colorful display of befitting costumes, the tiny tots sang, danced, played and acted on stage. The well-coordinated events held the audience in awe as one by one performances unfolded on stage. The enthusiasm and energy reverberated in the entire Hall with enough foot tapping and applause doing justice to the entire show. Kudos to the organizers, teachers, children and parents for the delightful day which touched the heart and left us asking for more. It takes a lot of effort to put together such a grand show and we are thankful to all who made this day possible.

ANNUAL PICNIC !!!!!!

School adventure trips are a great way to experience what’s offered by the great outdoors
An adventure trip allows students to learn several outdoor skills
It helps kids to enhance love for nature, curiosity and imagination. it gives them a sense of independence and responsibility.
Prathamesh Resort -Set on 3 hectares of grounds and surrounded by the Sahyadri mountain range, this laid-back resort off the NH48 national highway is 28 km from pune, where our little Geniusions spent a day with their teachers and friends.
the day started with travelling to the location with approximately 45 minutes to the resort.
Kids enjoyed their breakfast served by the resort followed by various activities which were lined up for them like Crossing the "U" nylon net bridge,Crossing the horizontal plank bridge,Walking on wire rope,Walking on vertical tires,bullock cart ride etc other than garden and few indoor ganes .
later kids enjoyed their lunch with their favourite food on the menu and the last activity was eagerly waited Rain Dance.. rain with their favourite songs was a perfect combination for them to enjoy the last bit as well.
A perfect balance between the urban and the rural life was thoroughly enjoyed by the kids.

HEALTH CHECK UP AT GENIUS MINDS PRESCHOOL

A medical check up is important aspect to assess children's physical and mental growth and development. Hence Genius Minds Preschool provides medical check up program to give their children education on most importantly Dental, health and hygiene education. The students health reports are maintained, basic vital check up was conducted by Dr Ritesh P Jain done MD in Pediatrics. He worked in KEM Hospital and now is consultant at Bharti Ayurved Hospital. Also done PGPN from Boston University, having his clinic in Ambegaon Pathar accompanied by Dr Kunjal Mahajan. We would like to recognize their contribution for the event for children's health and well being which is something beyond the realm of social responsibility.
The Dr recommended medical precautions and intervention.
Goodies were given to children by Dr for them to calm.
Overall it was a successful event and looking forward for even more updated event.

A FUN LEARNING TRIP TO SEVEN WONDERS PARK!!

The new round-the- world tour might be for you. ... trip that takes in all the seven wonders of the world, our little Geniusians went to visit all the seven Wonders at one place, The Seven Wonders Park At Sahakarnagar. There are beautiful structures and there are absolute works of art which students experienced visually out from the books.
Various lists of the Wonders of the World have been compiled from antiquity to the present day, to catalogue the world’s most spectacular natural wonders and manmade structures. These include the New, Modern, Natural and Ancient Wonders of the World. The park had Taj Mahal - India, Leaning Tower of Pissa, Pyramid – Egypt, Roman Colosseum – Italy, Stone henge, Eiffel Tower.
Kids were more excited and few were scared while passing through the cave. They were in fact surprised to see the content physically which was taken as a topic in the classroom on the screen.
They loved posing for the pictures in front of the replicas. After having their food kids even enjoyed the open gym in the park and running around the trees.
Overall the trip was fun, learning and at the end of the day kids were exhausted but didn't wanted to return.

Dandiya and Bhondla Celebration

On the eve of Dussehra Genius Minds Preschool organised Dandiya and Bhondla for the kids to understand the significance of festivals and traditions and which is a great way to impart values to the child.
Kids were part of every moment from decorating their classrooms to enjoying every bit of traditions of the festival ending with Khirapat.

After worshiping the idol of elephant which symbolizes deity with flowers and garlands along with the prayer songs of Lord Ganesha followed by Bhondla songs moving in the circle around the idol.

Later the songs of Dandiya and Garba were put for the students along with the teachers to sway with the rhythm of the music.

Diwali Celebration!!!!!

Diwali, the festival of lights, is a religious observance commemorated by people around the world.
Following the term dipavali meaning “row or series of lights” our little tots lit diyas all painted by themselves with beautiful color and doorways and foyers were decorated with rangolis, beautiful, intricate patterns on the floor that are created using materials including coloured sand and flower petals by our teachers.
Kids enjoyed music, dance and their snacks giggling for their next surprise i. e crackers.
There was firework display to end the festival celebration.
Diya were gifted as token of love and good wishes to the kids which were painted by them.
