MIT Tech Team

MIT Tech Team MIT-WPU Tech Team is a robotics team of 15 members from MIT World Peace University. We believe in in Works with ROS on Linux.

MIT Tech Team won Robocon India 4 times in 2010, 2012, 2013, 2020 while it has represented India 5 times on international platform ABU Robocon in 2008, 2010, 2012, 2013 and 2020. Electronics Team:
Circuit boards designing and development for different peripherals like encoders, sensors, h-bridge, motors, etc. Mechanical Team:
As per problem statement machines are designed in SolidWorks followed by

3D simulation and then actual fabrication. Testing and refining of the prototype design are carried out for improved results. Different fabrication methods used are:
- Laser cutting
- Wire cutting
- Aluminium welding
- Tig welding
- CNC Based fabrication

Coding Team:
Works with various closed-loop feedback systems to improve our traction control and navigation systems. Develop navigation path each year according to the problem statement. Carries out programming on microcontrollers and microprocessors. Computer Vision, Motion Technologies and Inertial Algorithms are major fields we excel in. Proficient in Embedded C, Python and Linux based workflow.
